This stuff does a decent job. The scent is nice but not overpowering. A lot of dog shampoos and conditioners don't lather well and this one is no different. But I have a luffa for my dog to create suds and it does well. I did a quick wash to help remove surface oils, dirt, and grime then rinsed well and washed again for a deep clean. Letting it sit on your dogs coat for around 5 mins really helps to soften the coat and gives the shampoo time to work properly. Rinsing well is key! My Goldendoodles coat is silky soft, no residue, and no waxy feeling. Making sure to rinse underneath in the folds and armpits as well as the private area and tail is crucial to avoid excess soap residue. But yeah.... rinse well... take your time and it will work.

I love the smell but it does not give a good clean at all! We had our dog that is a working dog all over our home and didn't realize until Day 2 after being at the farm did we realize this shampoo did not do a good job at cleaning off all of the dirt at all.

Dog smells like wet dog (NOT clean) after 2 washes
Almost no smell on your dog after. Mine still smelled like wet dog, even after washing her twice (mini schnauzer). I didn’t even towel her off, I washed her, rinsed her. Refilled the tub and washed and rinsed her a second time. Still stunk of wet dog. Her coat felt softer and clean, I guess, but the wet dog smell after makes it seem like she’s not clean. Will not buy again. Do not recommend.

Doesn't work on my puppy's coat
I bought this for my new puppy who has sensitive skin and frankly had poo in her fur when I brought her home the first night. It did a poor job getting poo and the smell out. Almost no smell at all. I had to use A LOT for minimal results. I ultimately returned it and got another brand to wash my pup. Don't recommend.
