I hardly ever write reviews but felt this was deserved and I should’ve read reviews first! Firstly, I couldn’t figure out how to get them to turn on… realized I need to fully flip over the solar panel part after it gets dark. I don’t mind doing that if it means they work. I can just flip them back over when I’m done. However, even with full sunlight all yesterday and today, one bulb is not working on each of the strands I bought. Not sure why. Might try to return if I can.

Great patio lights!
These worked from day 1 without issue. My deck is in full sun, so they get plenty of light during the day. I never took them down for winter, and they continue to come on in the evening even with all the snow!

they don't automatically turn on as stated.
i assumed when i bought these that, like all other solar powered porch lights I've ever bought, would turn on automatically at night and recharge during the day. these do seem to charge, but will only turn on if i go hit the button manually, which is pretty annoying. the instructions are also really unclear "press the "on/off" button on the back to turn the lights on OR to charge it" so... i have to turn them on to charge them? i don't understand why you would design these like that at all. it says they should automatically turn on/off and they definitely dont.

The only complaint is I bought another and they don’t turn on at all? But they’re other one I purchased does.. but it looks nice when on just wish the other one would turn on I love that they solar panel and I don’t have to worry about wasting electricity and that they charge in the sun but some maybe have malfunctions the one that turns on doesn’t thank goodness

These lights have to be manually turned on and they only stay on for a few mintues. The lights are very cute but made cheap and have to keep turning them on after a few mintues of being turned on when it needs to turn on, on it's own since it's solar automatic. Will be returning.

Dont turn on
I bought these and had them in the sun all. The box recommended 8-10 hours and they had full sun the whole day. They won't stay on for more then 5 seconds. Really disappointed.
