Once you fill the bag with used capsules, remove the silver foil strip and seal the bag. You may drop off the sealed bag to your nearest UPS location. The aluminum will be sent to a local smelter and the coffee grounds will be used on their onsite composting ground.

A: Yes they are! And I send my pods in a Nespresso self addressed recycling bag that I order (free of charge) on Nespresso website. I easily drop mine off at a staples location. the drop off is also free

A: Thank you for your question. The water tank is on a swivel which can be adjusted to accommodate the space you are placing the VertuoPop+ machine into. The water tank can either be adjusted to be just behind the machine or to the left side.

When rotation of the capsule starts, a pressure is implied due to the centrifugal forces.

A: The Nespresso VertuoLine machines, including the Vertuo Pop+, are designed to brew capsules using our patented Centrifusion technology. Centrifusion is a word combining “Centrifugal” and “Infusion”, indicating that water is injected into the capsule and is infused with the ground coffee inside as the capsule spins. Vertuo’s innovative technology automatically adjusts to the perfect brew settings to offer a full range of coffee sizes. A: Capsules are required to operate Nespresso machines. We are aware that some companies are manufacturing capsules that appear to be compatible. We do not test the compatibility of competitors’ products with our machines; therefore we cannot comment on this. You may decide to use non-Nespresso capsules in your Nespresso machine. The use of capsules others than those of Nespresso doesn’t invalidate the warranty. However, we are glad to tell you about the perfect interaction between Nespresso capsules and Nespresso machines, which is the essence of our system.

A: We do not have refillable capsules to use in our Vertuo machine models. We specialize in specialty coffee grown by our farmers from all over the world. Each blend is created specifically to brew in our state-of-the-art Nespresso Vertuo machines. Each capsule has a barcode under the rim, which our Vertuo machines read, to know how much water to brew through our multiple different sized capsules. We do not have refillable capsules to use in our Nespresso machines.
