Don’t spend your money on this product unless you want to shower after applying this lotion to your face. The scent from this lotion is awful.

Either comes out just water, or super chunky. Even if you shake it up (never had to with lotion) it's worthless

Appears they’ve taken shortcuts to get an inferior product to replace the previous iteration while jacking the price. It’s not terrible, but it’s definitely not good nor worth the price.

Agreed with all others. Bring back the original formula. It worked great. The new one does not.

the re-formulation is terrible in comparison to the last. It feels very water soluble and there's is no hydration for my beard. The other formula had a pleasant suttle scent and this one has none. It leaves your beard feeling wet and runny to the tips of the hair at the bottom. Much like everyone else's review, im highly disappointed and wish I hadn't purchased, especially for the price. The technique for this brand will to bring back the old formula, market it and charge even more. I will not purchase again.

Like many others have said, this new reformulated facial lotion is a corporate money grab for an inferior product. The original face lotion was a great emollient. It felt like it was moisturizing the skin all day. Now, this 2025 version dries off in 5 minutes and feels like those cheap hotel lotions. I get the price increase, but to change out quality ingredients for their cheaper synthetic counterparts is disingenous. Don't buy this.

Here to agree with everyone else. They changed the formula and it's horrible! Burns when you apply it, and does nothing to moisturize. The old formula was so much better and actually worked. This new one is almost double the price and it doesn't even work! I'm about to just throw the full container away and find another brand to use.

Tried this out, as I use their shaver. Boy, did I make a mistake. Using their face wash and lotion only a few times left my entire face red and rashy. I was dry, itchy, and sensed a burning sensation. I would not recommend this to my worst enemy. Buyer beware.

I am here to agree with everyone else. This was the perfect face lotion for years until Target decision makers discontinued it, (barely) changed the formula, doubled the price, and now it’s ineffective. I went from all day comfort to my T-Zone constantly irritated and dry. They charged me 2x as much for 100% dissatisfaction. I could not recommend this less to anyone. Do not buy and find a different brand. Thanks, Target!

This used to be my favorite face lotion — affordable, rich, and left my skin feeling moisturized all day. But the new version? Total downgrade. They quietly swapped the formula (I had chatGPT analyze the difference, and basically they swap out stuff like shea butter for synthetically derived emollients like polyisobutene - pictures attached if you want to check yourself!), and it now feels thin, dries out my skin, and lacks the creamy, hydrating texture the original had. And the kicker? They around doubled the price. It’s all flash and no function now — full of synthetic “slip” ingredients that feel nice for 10 seconds but leave your face parched. Bring back the original formula or stop pretending it’s the same product. Having worked in manufacturing this seems to me like a cost cutting effort (cheaper ingredients) mixed with a price hike to drive profitability. What a shame I won’t be buying this anymore.

New formula is absolutely terrible. This used to my favorite face lotion. Regular ol’ Vaseline is better than this. They messed with a good thing. Bring the old product back!

Pros: Lightweight; blends in well. No chemicals irritation. Cons: I can’t get over the fishy smell! The scent starts out lightly aquatic, then- BAM! Fishy galore!! Bleh. The fishiness eventually fades but it is not something I look forward to. I have other kelp facial/ body products that do NOT actually smell like a chum bucket, so unsure why this one does.

New formula is trash. Way too watery now. Bad smell. Bad consistency. Why did they change it??

Um, I buy this moisturizer regularly (see screenshot) for my husband, the last time I purchased it was 2 months ago. It's always been $4.99, now suddenly it's repackaged in a green tube and it costs the same as the moisturizer WITH sunscreen?? The price has gone up 72% in one jump! That's absolutely ridiculous and I'm hoping it's an error.

This was a good value at $4.99 when I last ordered it in 10/24. Not so much at $8.59.

Reviewing Goodfellow & company kelp and sea mineral scent 4oz face lotion. I have been using a small pea size amount of this facial lotion at night for over two weeks after washing my face. The lotion leaves my skin feeling soft.
