Q: Does Audra really have light brown hair? The photos show it more blonde than brown. I need a light brown hair doll with blue eyes with no freckles...

A: Hi Lil Deb, Audra's hair does look the way it is in the picture, which we consider to be very (very!) light brown. If you are looking for an OG doll with darker hair than Audra, maybe Parker or Portia would work for you? They both have light brown hair and blue eyes with no freckles. We hope this helps!

A: Put the post of one of the stud earrings through the metal loop on top of the red earring, then push the post in the doll's ear as usual.

A: Hi Linds. All of the Our Generation 18" dolls are made to have their outfits taken off and changed. Please note, that when new, the clothing is sewn onto the dolls body with security thread. An adult will need to carefully remove the security thread before the outfits are removed in order to not damage the dolls body. Thank you. The Battat Team

A: Hi there! The longer item is a necklace and the shorter one is a bracelet that are used to hold the charms. Once the charms are placed on the necklace or the bracelet, they can be kept closed by tying a bow at the ends. We think it makes it easier to add and remove charms during playtime. The doll was beautiful but the order i placed was canceled three times for no reason and my granddaughter was very upset because it came late for her birthday. When it arrived one of the earrings was missing and the shoes were too big. Alltogether great craftsmanship, it just wasn't the best experience. Thanks

I bought Audra for my daughter on her 6th birthday. She Loved her & took her EVERYwhere. They were inseparable. My daughter is 12 now and we recently had a fashion show with Audra as the star. We just Love her! I have to admit I bought her as an alternative to the extremely pricey 18" dolls hoping she would last awhile. But make no mistake the our generation dolls are made Very well & are second to none. I Definitely Recommend & Thank You Our Generation Thank You VERY Much!!

Same quality, style, and look of American Girl doll
Bought my daughter this Our Generation doll (on right) for Christmas & her friend has an American Girl (on left) doll. We compared them and they are the exact same quality, style, and look. The hair on the Our Generation doll is actually softer than the AGD & my daughter loves that she can put earrings in her dolls ears. The AGD has her teeth showing. Both have eyes that open & close, soft bodies, and moveable arms. Both have enough hair sewn into the scalp that you can put their hair up without holes showing through. They have already dressed them up in clothes they’ve gotten separately, hence the different outfit than what’s shown in ad. All around super happy with this purchase.

Audra is Fabulous!
What a beautiful doll! I honestly think the faces are prettier than AG. The only notable difference is that OG hair is not as full, but the value is astronomical! Audra is my favorite so far (with the price you can actually get your girls more than one). The pierced ears are fabulous. My girls could play with this doll all day. Thank you OG!!

We purchased Anya a very similar jewellery Our Generation doll. Her hair has remained lovely, sadly we have lost most of the jewellery but the clothes remain in good condition and intact. A bit amazing as the doll was used by a 3 year old. In hind sight I would have bought a different doll as a first doll, no little bits. Anya is a lovely doll for a bit older than three years old.

Audra is a DELUXE O.G. DOLL!
Audra is a deluxe O.G. doll with pierced ears that comes with jewelry and a (abt 5” tall) jewelry tree.
There are a few PROS and CONS to this doll:
PROS:
- beautiful doll with blue eyes and long (to lower back), thick, strawberry-blonde hair.
- the only OG doll we’ve seen with pierced ears!
- fun, glittery eye shadow can be removed (scratched off) if u r not fond.
- cute outfit, esp. her durable headband w/ flower. (Our dtr wears it as a wrist corsage!)
CONS:
- Audra is a DELUXE O.G. DOLL!. Online details often say deluxe dolls have “posable” arms and legs. That really means the plastic is thinner and allows joints to bend slightly. It doesn’t feel cheap, but it does feel more “squishy”. The con (dbl entendre), to me, is that OG never specifies that Audra is a deluxe doll.
- her sequin jacket is very thin and feels to be of cheap quality. It’s attached to her dress, but could be removed with two quick snips; but I don’t think the jacket would look right if it were detached.
- her twine necklace and bracelet have to be knotted tightly when put on her. It’s a real pain to change out her (“dessert” shaped) charms!
- the extra headband / scarf is just a cheap piece of elastic that you have to knot or tie yourself.
- not a bad thing, but her hair is slightly layered (so braids will have longer free ends.)
But we love the doll! Great quality for the price! She’s a keeper.
