A: This electric kettle is wonderful.! It heats up the water so fast I use it instead of the microwave to make my morning tea, cocoa, etc. If you are using loose tea put the tea in a pot or a teaball.

Periodically, they may need to add a white or distilled vinegar to the unit about 1-2 cups depending on how much calcification is on heating element and interior of the kettle. Let is soak for 30-45 minutes. You can also turn it on and let it come to a boil to help break down the calcification.
