Description

Floor care and pet cleanup has never been easier when you have the BISSELL® CrossWave® Pet Pro Multi-Surface Wet Dry Vac – 2306. This cleaner dry vacuums and washes floors at the same time. CrossWave® Pet Pro multi-surface cleaner cleans better than a sponge mop and bucket* and in less time. You can seamlessly switch between cleaning hard floors to refreshing area rugs with the fingertip controls, while delivering the right amount of formula to your floors with the on-demand formula trigger. The Tangle-Free Brush Roll scrubs to remove debris and minimizes annoying pet hair wrap. BISSELL® CrossWave® Pet Pro multi-surface cleaner is safe for tile, sealed hardwood floors, laminate, linoleum, vinyl, rubber floor mats, pressed wood floors, area rugs, and more. Featuring Two-Tank Technology, this wet dry vacuum keeps the cleaning solution separate from the dirty water to ensure a fresh mix of formula and water is always being used to clean your floors. The included PET Multi-Surface with Febreze Formula helps eliminate pet odors on your floors. After cleaning, use the Pet Hair Strainer to separate pet hair and large debris from the dirty water in your dirt tank, so hair and debris can be disposed into the garbage and not down your sink. The special Rinse & Clean Out Storage Tray helps you easily clean the machine after use and also stores the brush rolls for next time! CrossWave Pet Pro® wet dry vac is truly a groundbreaking multi-floor cleaner that is a must-have for homes with or without pets. Q: What is the difference between the CrossWave Pet Pro and the CrossWave All in One?

submitted by Bits - 3 years ago
  • A: Thanks for your question! The CrossWave Pet Pro comes with the multi-surface pet brush, multi-surface pet formula, and a pet hair strainer that catches hair and debris in the water tank for easier cleaning after use. Please call us anytime if we can help at 1-800-237-7691.

  • A: And how much with tax for this machine so as to compare it to the 10 other distributors pricing please

    submitted byThisisinsane1 - 2 years ago

Q: I know this says it works on area rugs but would it work for carpet?

submitted by Curious consumer - 3 years ago
  • A: For carpet, we still recommend a separate dry vacuum and deep cleaner. The BISSELL CrossWave is designed to vacuum and wash sealed hard floors and rugs simultaneously, eliminating the need to sweep then mop. It's not meant for spot cleaning carpet or upholstery. Hope this helps!

submitted byAskBISSELL - 3 years ago

  • A: For lower pile carpet that wouldn't be any thicker then that of area rug.... Definitely not good for area rugs that are made out of wool or shag no but but any sort of low pile carpet that isn't shag or wool it would work great on

    submitted byThisisinsane1 - 2 years ago

Q: Is this upgrade worth it for the hair trap?

submitted by CS - 3 years ago
  • A: In addition to the pet hair strainer, the CrossWave Pet Pro also includes two 8 oz. Multi-Surface Pet Formulas, two Tangle-Free Brush Rolls, and a Rinse & Clean Out Storage Tray.

  • A: Yes . But now if I could simply fine out why that machine we're speaking of is being offered at a wide variety of different prices anywhere from 229 to $400

    submitted byThisisinsane1 - 2 years ago

Q: Does it dry the floor after mopping?

submitted by J - 3 years ago
  • A: It doesn't dry the floor, but it suctions the water off the floor and typically requires a short dry time. Thanks for asking!

submitted byAskBISSELL - 3 years ago
    Brand expert
  • A: If you take the time to properly learn to.ise the machine and make sure your only using enough of the sprayer solution.... Per say you're taking a swipe going forward you should be spraying until you get to the end of that swipe and then letting go over the sprayer all the way back so it sucks it so on and so forth you don't want to leave an excessive amount of water and cleaning formula on the floors and it will take longer to suck it up and we'll leave more streaks I've owned a Bissell crosswave not a pet one ... And I've never had really any issues with it until I recently had to use it for a big huge pet mask that's kind of got it all flowed up and I'll tell you if you take the time to use it correctly and keep it cleaned out it works wonderfully but if you have pets I would suggest getting the pet Pro Plus One

    submitted byThisisinsane1 - 2 years ago

Q: I have hardWOOD floors - not faux wood. Would the formula damage the wood? Also, very importantly, the item is described as a floor cleaner and area rugs are mentions are very limited. Is this the best washer option for area rug cleaning?

submitted by Rhs - 3 years ago
  • A: They also have a brush and solution specifically for hardwood floors a little more money but just so u can rest assured that the scrubber isn't going to cause any scratches or the solution take away any of the protective wood layer . Also whatever you might use to clean your wood floors with you can also use in that machine it doesn't have to be specific to Bissell although of course they want you to use it sometimes I just make up a mixture of Lysol and water and make sure not over do it

    submitted byThisisinsane1 - 2 years ago
  • A: The BISSELL CrossWave is safe and effective for use on sealed hardwood, waterproof hard flooring and area rugs. It's designed to vacuum and wash simultaneously, eliminating the need to sweep then mop. It will vacuum and freshen your area rugs, but it's not going to work like a carpet cleaner. The CrossWave isn't meant for dry vacuuming or deep cleaning carpet or rugs. For shampooing your rugs, we recommend the ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Carpet Cleaner model 1986.

Q: I have very low pile carpet. Could this vacuum be used to get the general dirt and pet hair off the carpet, since the fibers are so short? I know it says it is for area rugs and honestly, my carpet isn't much deeper than a rug.

submitted by Kay1005 - 3 years ago
  • A: I'm not sure why or who it is that's saying that this scrubber this Bissell crosswave machine that cost over $300 and most places is not able to deal with carpet when it specifically says under the details that it does do carpets that are low pile carpet no it's not going to do shag carpets no it's not going to do wool carpets but normal everyday carpets in a house yes it does so I'm not sure why I've read over and over again somebody saying that they don't recommend it when it is recommended right under the details and uses written by Bissell

    submitted byThisisinsane1 - 2 years ago
  • A: Hi Kay - the BISSELL CrossWave is designed to vacuum and wash sealed hard floors and rugs simultaneously, eliminating the need to sweep then mop. For carpet, we still recommend a separate dry vacuum and deep cleaner.

Q: How much does the clean water tank hold? Am I going to have to refill it every 5 mins?

submitted by Katie - 3 years ago
  • A: I looked up measurements 3.5 cups is not bad

submitted bylooked up - 3 years ago
  • A: No, Katie. The clean water tank holds 828ml and you can fill use the fill lines for small or large jobs.

Q: Can it be used as just a vacuum?

submitted by Bette - 9 months ago

I actually have no idea how people can review this thing so poorly. It has made my life so much easier. I use very hot water and solution and can vacuum and mop my entire 2 floor house in under an hour. My floors are spotless and actually feel clean, unlike running a dirty mop over them. My mother in law always compliments my tile & hardwood floors and says how clean they are. To clean out the vacuum after, it takes about 5 minutes to do. I have recommended this to everyone I know.

This is by far the worst thing I have ever purchased. Huge waste of money. I will say it doesn't work on our wood floors and I have to go over them with another mop. I am upset at the price I paid in hopes of making things easier with a toddler and 2 big dogs. It's loud for one and makes a loud high pitch noise. It leaves streaks on the floor from the wheels. And even after going over the same spot 5 different times it still is not clean. The cord is really short as well so I am constantly moving plugs.

It’s been a like over a year and it keeps having issues. It won’t vacuum the dirty water so the dirty water stays on the floor instead of the little dirty water compartment. I really wanted to love this but now we can’t even return it.

Mediocre at best. It takes several very slow swipes to clean the floor and it does NOT deep clean. I can still see water marks from the dogs on the floor after washing. It’s easier and more time efficient just to mop it the old fashioned way. Also, the water container was defective and leaked water all over the floor. It was a tortuous adventure with an automated service rep to get a new water container. I would not recommend this.

If I could give this product negative stars I would. This is the biggest waste of money ever and I find it incredibly ironic that it is directed towards pets because this thing does not stand a chance against pet hair. I bought this vacuum in college and used it very minimally as one could imagine. Fast forward to graduating college and buying a house, we were using this thing once a week. It worked as well the first week we used it in the house as it did when we threw it in the trash - where it belonged all along! Whatever you do, DO NOT let the high star rating fool you into buying this product. We have a one year old golden retriever and short haired cat, the only product i would recommend if you have similar pets in your household is the Dyson V15 detect absolute. We got the Dyson for Christmas and it was honestly terrifying we didn’t get it sooner seeing as this Bissell Pet Wave Pro whatever left our house more dirty than before we used it. I filled up the Dyson Canister 3 times the first time I used it and our house is roughly 1,300 square feet. In all, Bissell should really remove this product from their line. Spend your money on something with actual quality!

I purchased this a few months ago and was excited for it's double functionality-hardwood floors and carpet cleaning- as well as pet hair removal. It is NOT as powerful as it should. For the price, this should be a reliable product. I have to constantly run it on my kitchen floors for it to remove spills-also most of the time it doesn't suctions the crumbs but rather spreads around as I vacuum. As of late the cleaning product also spills, meaning when I'm done with the vacuum and I leave it on its base, the left over liquid comes from the bottom. I looked for a bottom or switch or something to "close it" but no luck. So now I have to clean this too. Looking for another vacuum with REAL power.
1 reply from Bissell Homecare, Inc. team - 1 month ago

Total trash. Location where the cord connects to the unit means you have to always watch out to not step on it. After a long day of cleaning the house there is nothing i want to do more than break down a whole vacum and clean it only to have dirty water come out the next time i use it. Great idea horrible execution. All the people saying this is a great product need to get right with the Lord.

Opened up a used and filthy vacuum

1 out of 5 stars
Ebharry - 2 months ago, Verified purchaser
Not sure how product works because it looks like mine was used and the original owner wasn't a fan. Purchased during Black Friday deals for a Christmas present. Went to open it up for the first time for a little new years cleaning and found a vacuum missing a bottle of cleaning solution, parts covered in dog hair and a wet solution tank. I also turned the vacuum over because I noticed one of the brush rolls was already installed and it was caked with dog hair, leaves and mud. Thought I was purchasing a new product but clearly someone had bought it and returned. Would hope Target would do a better QC job on returns.

Was skeptical at first because floor looked streaky but when it dried it looked great. I’ve use this multiple times and I honestly love it. Would be nice if it cleaned closer to the wall but all and all a good product. Box is missing the extra brush roller.

I have a LOT of animal hair in my home, and I feel like my vacuum doesn't get my home as clean as I want it. My husband and I sat on this item for a while, but we are so glad we finally purchased it! It was a lot easier to use than I anticipated, and I was pleased with the ability to move from hardwood floors to a shallow rug without needing to do much different.

This left strips of water and dry areas so you had to go over the area repeatedly. The dog hair mixed in with the dirty water. It's loud. Then the clean up. The old fashioned way of sweeping then mopping was about the same time and effort for a lot less money.

It gets clogged immediately. Took me 30 minutes to go over my floors when it dried I saw almost every single paw print still. I don't even think this can be returned now because I used it! Save your money a vacuum and mop are still superior and I do like the spinwave, I wanted this to replace those 3 things but sadly it will be just another thing in my laundry room.

This vacume is absolutely terrible. It works great for 5 minutes, then gets clogged. You have to thoroughly clean every crevice multiple times throughout vacuuming one room for it to work correctly. God forbid you use the mop feature. You must make sure it is 120% dry after use - which means after cleaning every crevice of the machine and filter, meaning; vacume parts spread all out for two days… just then, if you are LUCKY it won't smell like mildew the next time you use it. I often find myself having to revisit the same spot to pick up missed dirt when vacuuming.. it's like I'm pushing dirt around. I stopped using this for the mop feature and now solely use it for a vacume due to the mildew nonsense… oh and I have purchased a package of replacement filters so I can just swap them out (becomes necessary every other use); this is the worst, most frustrating machine. My hand-me-down $20 off brand stick vacume works better than this rip off.
