Picks up pretty well but ridiculous that this vacuum doesn't have an automatic cord rewind! Dangerous. Frustrating and annoying.

This Bissell cleaner does a much better job than the Dyson I used to have.

I have dogs and cats, and really needed a vacuum that would work well. After reading the reviews I thought I’d found it. This is honestly THE WORST vacuum I’ve ever owned. It gets clogged so much I have to unclog it about 4-5 times every time I vacuum the 2 area rugs in my 800 sq ft apartment. It’s ridiculous and frustrating. Tonight while vacuuming I got 2 good swipes with it before it just gathered up and blew around all of the hair and debris and dirt all over the floor. I might as well have purchased a leaf blower. Do not recommend.

This vacuum does not pick up pet fur on rugs or hardwood floors, it doesn't vacuum at all near the baseboards, and despite their advertising - hair gets tangled in the roller and dirt gets stuck deep in the bin. Very disappointing!

I love how easy it is to remove the dirt, etc. from the vacuum with the One Touch Easy-Empty™ Dirt Tank which allows one to empty it with a push of a button. I love the Tangle-Free Brush Roll which minimizes hair wrap. I love the LED Headlights which illuminates dark areas. I had to get use to the Swivel Steering but really like it. I really like the vacuum is lightweight compared to what I previously owned and I especially like the Specialized Pet Tools to effectively lift dirt and pet hair from stairs, carpets, upholstery, corners, and hard-to-reach places.

I love this vacuum so much! I pet sit for a living, so lots of pet fur in my house.

We purchased this vacuum cleaner about a month ago. Start off with the positive. I like the automatic rewind option. But the cord is way too short can't even finish one standard size room without having to change plugs and the cord is too low on the vacuum you have to keep lifting it up. It does not suck from the sides of the vacuum head like the dust near the baseboards. It is far too heavy and the maneuverability is not easy, you literally have to lift the vacuum when you want to turn around. It doesn't pick up all the dirt and pet hair without going very slowly and over the same area a quite a few times. A positive is the price and it's quite. Our family has been spoiled we had a Dyson upright vacuum for over ten years and worked wonderful but couldn't fit buying a Dyson in our budget so close to Christmas. If your looking for a new vacuum I would save the money and purchase a Dyson upright does a much better job and is easier to move around and the vacuum head is small so you can fit it under furniture easier.

So I've had sharks for years and loved them. When the shark apex with the aero m no hair wrap roller came out I of course bought it because I have a Newfoundland so vacuuming my house daily is necessary. That "zero m" roller got more fur stuck on it than any vaccuum I've ever had. Then within a year small things started breaking. The lights quit working, the belt got jammed, the clip that lets you take the head apart to clean it broke, and then it just stopped working all together. Mind you that was their newest most expensive model when I bought it. Called a local repair shop and was told they don't repair sharks anymore because you can't. Apparently they stopped using screws and use all clips now meaning you can't take them apart without breaking the clips and then you can't replace those so it never goes back together. Was told that by numerous places. That being said I figured it was time to try a different brand. Went to the store and landed on this model. It is SOOOO much better! The no wrap roller literally works fantastically. I've never had to de fur it! It's also quieter and easier to push and the self winding cord is a definite plus. So I guess I'm a Bissell guy now. No regrets. Thank you Bissell for making a vacuum that actually does what is says it will do!
