Q: I just purchased this purifier, why is the red light on? It also says it’s quiet but why is it loud?
A: Thank you for your inquiry! The red light on your Blue Pure 311i Max indicates that the air quality in the room is polluted. In response, the purifier's fan may increase speed if set to auto mode to help clean the air more effectively. Despite this, the Blue Pure 311i Max is Quiet Mark Certified and designed for whisper-quiet operation — running at just 23 dB on low and up to 50 dB on high. If the red light stays on continuously, we recommend cleaning the sensor inlets located at the back of the unit. You can also reset the light indicator by pressing and holding the fan speed button for about 15 seconds, until all LEDs on the interface light up. Once the filter light turns off, release the button.
