Indicator Light failed, no customer support
Light indicator failed the 1st time I replaced the filter. Can't get it to work. Can't get someone on the phone to help. Emailed to get pitcher replaced, no response. This is my 3rd brita and this will be my last. Very disappointing not so much with my defective filter or pitcher, but the lack of response for someone to help or replace or stand behind their product.

I notice no difference in water quality. The sensor has already failed after only 6 months of service. Utter disappointing product. Do not waste your money or time

Broke after less than 9 months of normal use
I liked this pitcher, especially the size of it, but it failed after about only 9 months of regular use. The button above the handle you push to open the lid to be able to fill it up with water, it broke off. I was never rough with it and this happened after I pressed on it normally. I couldn't believe it broke that quickly and easily, but it is a thin and flimsy piece of plastic. My last Brita pitcher lasted for years, so this was very disappointing.

On Feb 21, 2025, I bought your Tahoe Pitcher with 1 Elite filter from a Target store nd started using it that day. About 3 weeks ago, I noticed NO light when pouring from and filling the pitcher. I never noticed a "yellow" nor "red" light that's supposed to indicate time to replace the filter. So, I tried resetting the filter indicator but still the light did not light nor pulse. A few days later, while pouring, miraculously the light pulsed. Yay! However, a week ago, the indicator light pulsed constantly when it was not being used, i.e. no pouring nor filling. I checked that all parts were properly in place yet the indicator light still pulsed. So, I reset the filter indicator (in which the indicator light flashes red and then green three times) again, and again, and again but the light continued to pulse. This form does NOT allow videos such that one video shows the pitcher sitting in the sink in the dark to which it spontaneously started flashing/pulsing. On August 18, 2025, I changed the filter, filled and emptied the pitcher three times, and reset the filter indicator. Every time I pour and fill the pitcher, the light starts and continues to pulse/flash. To make it stop, I have to reset the filter. Such a pain… The indicator light is really a stupid light… Go low-tech.

Disappointed
The filter indicator died within 8 months and that piece is not replaceable you need to replace the brita. But its supposed to last a few years.

Arrived broken and the cracks were spread through the jug. Instead of minimal packaging items like this should be packaged well given how sensitive they are. This is truly disappointing considering I've been using brita jug for years and they've always been strong and protected well by the packaging it came in

Works Great Except For The Green Light
I've owned this pitcher for about 8 months. I think it's great, but last week the light started flashing green and red - even when the pitcher was sitting on the counter. Now the light doesn't work at all. I was guessing there is a battery to replace - evidently not!

I’ve owned 2 of these and the filter light indicator stopped wrong on less than a year on both. Seemed like a good idea but not if it doesn’t work:

Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my new favorite thing in my kitchen right now. It holds 10 cups of water and I usually refill it a couple of times day. Because of this amazing filtered water pitcher, I find myself drinking a lot more water than I generally did before. The green light that appears when you pour gives such a rich, modern feel. It’s very durable as far as the design goes and the filter supposedly works up to 6 months before replacement is needed. I truly enjoy the taste of the water with this pitcher more than I do with tap or bottled store water!
