Q: is this cereal gluten free

A: It's as gluten free as any of the cheerios actually labelled gluten free. They use whole grain oats in all, not certified gluten free oats, so even the ones labeled gluten free may have traces.

A: It states 12 serving per container but that would be equal to 2oz. per serving. The box is 24oz. so if you want a 1cup serving there would only be 3 servings per box as 8oz. is equal to 1 cup.

I don’t understand how 1 cup of cinnamon Cheerios is supposed to have 12 grams of sugar, but it tastes way sweeter. It’s way too sweet & I ate it with 1 cup of plain whole milk. 12 grams of sugar is 3 teaspoons of sugar. I can put 3 teaspoons of sugar in a big cup of coffee & it’s wonderful, not overly sweet.

I love original Cheerios. I recently tried Cheerios Protein Cinnamon. For a breakfast cereal that is supposed to be healthy and high protein, it is way too sweet. otherwise it tastes good. Please consider lowering the amount of sugar.

When I first tried this cinnamon cheerios I didn't have a bunch of oats in the bottom of my bowl. Please take them out of the mix. It was much better without them. Are there 2⃣ versions of cinnamon cheerios?

Absolutely perfect cereal. it's not overly sweet, it's great as a dry snack, it stays crunchy for a long time in milk, there's nothing to dislike about this product! My kids are both obsessed with it, and between the 3 of us, we always have to have an open box and one on stand by.

Points for great taste, crunch and dairy free protein source. But 12 grams of sugar in something I'm eating for my health is a no-go for me. I would buy original cheerios with added protein, or a low sugar version of the flavored varieties. I'm someone who eats regular cheerios with almond milk and fresh fruit every day. For comparison: original cherrios have 2 grams of sugar, cinnamon protein cheerios have 12 grams of sugar. That's exactly the same amount of sugar in Cinnamon Toast Crunch, which I consider dessert!
