Clear Ribbed Curtain Rod Brass - Threshold™

Is it pretty? Yes. Is it durable or even functional? No. For a window of our width (~133”), this rod requires 3 parts. The middle rod is flimsy and cheap. All 3 rods telescope into one another and it seems like too many moving parts that are too cheap to work properly. I’m disappointed. If they’d spent more/enough to manufacture it with two, rather than three, and sturdier rods, it’d be much more functional. But now we’ve already installed it and drilled holes in our walls, so… unless we want to do patch work, we’re stuck with it. Wish we could trash it.

I used this with medium weight curtains and it’s holding up really well. I was impressed with how easy it was with the nails. I didn’t have any issues with the nails coming out or the anchor not staying. It looks exactly as pictured and the gold is a tad on the yellow side but it still goes well with my cream curtains. Highly recommend as a no screw option!

This is a beautiful rod. I bought because it said I wouldn't need a drill, just a hammer. (Hanging curtain rods is my least favorite thing ever!) I tried the nails provided & it didn't hold at all. We had to use the screws & a drill. Once we got it up the 2nd time, it was great.

This added such a nice touch to my newly decorated nursery and bathroom! It is easy to put up. Just a note that the plastic piece can be nailed or screwed in. I found screwing it in was easiest as the brackets went on wood rather than drywall. The hangers are a tight fit on the plastic pieces. Use a hammer gently if you cant muscle it on!

I ordered three. They were all different shades of gold. They don’t seem very high quality. I guess you get what you pay for.

I love this curtain rod in my daughter’s room. It’s sturdy and looks classy.

I love how this curtain rod looks! It’s very pretty. The inside of the curtain rod has a plastic piece to help secure the two rods and the plastic piece on the one we have is cracked. The rod is expanded pretty far but not all the way. Sometimes because that is cracked, it doesn’t hold tightly and it falls when we open the curtain. :( If you don’t plan on using the rod expanded it should be okay!

I purchased, brought it home, and realized it was missing the things the brackets slide into. I love this and was hoping to hang it up today.

Cute but not sturdy for longer window lengths before it bows in the middle. Should be two solid pieces instead of 3 to solve the problem. Very lightweight and cheaply made.

It’s pretty but scratches easily and sorta cheaply made. Not worth it for its price.

Exactly what I was hoping for and what I needed in my nursery. A nice bright brass color to elevate the window. It’s also a lot stronger then what I was finding before from other stores

Nice design but details made cheaply

The brushed gold rod and the clear decorative ends adds so much elegance to my room. I love how the rod size is adjustable and could extend all the way up to 120 inches. Installation of the curtain rod was simple. It came with 3 mounting plates to nail on my wall. Then, the 3 brackets slide into place. The rod with curtains on is placed on the brackets and secured with a small screw on the brackets. Overall, installation took less than 20 minutes.

The Clear Ribbed Curtain Rod Brass from Threshold is very sturdy and long. I was able to hang heavy curtains. Good solid color and the clear ends were strong plastic. Came with all of the pieces and drywall anchors.

I like the style of the finial on this rod. I like the "bling" look, but never necessarily found a shape I liked. This reminds me of those old glass door knobs you'd find. The gold adds just enough glamour to my room without looking kitschy. Easy install and sturdy design. It matches great with the gold oval mirror and walk shelf i also got at target.

The style finish and color are terrific. Taking off one star - the screws that come with it are not the best, the head easily strips. Rods you should hang one and done and hardware is critical. The look is great, would still recommend.
