Not very accurate
If you just need this for some basic drawing and measuring it's ok. But the compass is not accurate, so don't expect to use it to get mathematically accurate representations. I know how to use a compass correctly. It took a number of trail and error adjustments to get the correct size circle and that was not the measurement indicated on the instrument. Setting it to 1 inch gave me a 1.25 inch radius. I ultimately had to measure out a 1 inch radius on paper then adjust the compass to match the paper measurement. Very frustrating for a 7th grader expecting accurate results from his diagraming.

Basic, Cheap, Disappointing.
This is my second time buying this and I knew this was coming but I’m extremely disappointed. Both compasses I’ve used have broken, the place that holds the pencil becomes loose over time and won’t keep the pencil in and the clip comes off easily. The numbers on the compass are backwards which can be annoying and confusing Finally, the Protractor, the main reason I bought this. I like using this in my math class and also at home to make "Character Info" sheets. It was fine for a while but one day it just snapped in half during my travel to school. The plastics cheap anyways, but I didn’t expect it to break this early into usage. Overall really disappointed, and this is the only one target carries in store. I’ll be getting my algebra supplies from somewhere different now :/

Awful cheap junk
Horrible and cheap. The compass does not lock into place, and moves so easily that it’s impossible to draw a circle. Pretty pointless. The Q&A say the screw can be tightened, that’s inaccurate. I tried tightening it and it did not help at all. Don’t buy this junk.
