Wonderful Workshop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect activity set for kids who like to make things. Both of my kiddos (ages 7 and 9) and myself worked together to create 20 markers. I was very impressed by the quality of the components and that everything worked as intended. My 9 year old enjoyed this set the most and did the majority of the building. She did need some help getting the final click to put the markers together as it does require a good amount of force to do. That’s the only step she couldn’t do without me. Everything else was very easy to do and the instructions were easy to understand. We loved doing the color mix recipes and checking how close the actual marker colors turned out. It reminded us of a science lab measuring out the pigments. She also enjoyed making her own mixes to make brown and was pleased with her results. Overall, it’s a great activity kit that creates a useful and fun product that my kids immediately put to work creating more art.

Fun to mix and match
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All three of my children loved to make their own markers. The oldest 13 and 7 did not need much help. The 4 year old needed a lot of help but it was easy. It is great that they get to make their own colors and prints with the marker heads. It is also fun for them to learn how a marker is made with the color inks.

The perfect product to create your own colors!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bringing the Crayola experience home has never been more satisfying! My kids love making their own stickers for art supplies at the Crayola experience in Orlando but now there’s a product to actual make any color they want AND choose our own name for them?! Say less! This product was a hit from the moment they opened the box. Instructions are very easy with plenty of pictures in a step by step tutorial. You will definitely want to cover your play area with something easy to dispose of after they’re finished to make cleaning up easier since they’re mixing colors. I do wish there was more ink and scent as my daughter finished the scent after the 4th marker because she of squeezing too much (she’s 7!). The whole concept is awesome, allowing their own creativity and both my kids really enjoyed this product.

Amazing workshop!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The marker workshop is a huge hit in my household! My 6 year old loved picking out her colors and making personalized markers for everyone in her family! The scented solution and different marker tips are such fun additions. The kit comes with enough to make 20 markers! The color chart is pretty spot on when trying to get the perfect color but you can also be creative and make your own mixes. Make sure to have tweezers handy. They are a big help when removing the marker cores. Overall this is an amazing workshop guarantee to keep a budding artist busy! My daughter was so excited to use her own markers on her drawings!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is so fun for your little artist to show their creativity! My 9 year old daughter loved making her own markers and naming them. She was very excited that you could even add scent to the markers. The product was easy to use with clear instructions. This would be a great gift for any child that is into coloring and arts and crafts. The only thing my daughter would have liked to be included is a box to store all her finished markers in.

Marker making magic!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our kids have loved playing with the Marker Workshop. A few months ago, we got to make markers at a pop up station at the Crayola Experience in Orlando and since then, they have been asking how we can do it again. They've enjoyed coming up with their own colors, mixing the dyes together, and naming their creations. It's super easy- even our 4 year old can do it mostly by himself. We like that there are a lot of supplies to make at least 24 markers.

More Than Coloring — Kids Make Their Own Markers!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We tried the Crayola Marker Workshop with my two kids (ages 6 and 11), and it was a big hit. They really enjoyed mixing the colors and seeing how different combinations turned into completely new shades. It was fun watching them experiment and compare their creations. What I liked most was that they didn’t just use markers - they actually learned how markers are built and how they work. My 11-year-old followed the instructions easily and helped her younger sibling, while my 6-year-old needed a bit of guidance but stayed engaged the whole time. Yes, it can get a little messy, but that’s part of the fun. We did it at the table with some paper towels nearby, and cleanup was simple. Afterward, both kids were proud to use the markers they made themselves, which made the activity feel extra rewarding. Overall, it’s a creative, hands-on kit that keeps kids busy and curious - and something they’ll actually want to use again after the activity is over.

Creative kit, needs better execution
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Marker Workshop Set has a fun concept, but it can be challenging for younger kids. While the idea of creating your own markers by mixing colors and assembling the pieces is creative and exciting, the kit tends to be very messy and difficult for kids to manage independently. I have children ages 9, 12, and 13, and even they needed frequent supervision and assistance. Overall, the concept is great, but the execution could be improved to make it more user-friendly. I think this set should also have a case, unless the point is to make all the markers at once and never need to store all the pieces to make the markers themselves.

Children might need help to snap in the tips or the tops. Item should bring at least a toy tweezer. Once markers are done, easy to carry on a trip or to include in your. Should wear protective art cap to avoid ink staining clothes. Overall an awesome set to gift to someone into art.

Fun experience

It’s a pretty neat experience to select the desired color and add the correct amount of dye, watching the tube soak up the color, & then placing it into the marker portion itself.

Unexpectedly mess-free fun!
I did this with my almost 7 year old (my 4.5 year old was happy watching for a bit). We both enjoyed it. She could do most things with very little help or intervention except pressing the plug into the marker. She loved naming the colors and writing the labels. I was shocked that there was absolutely no drips or messes afterwards. She hasn’t used the markers a whole lot since we made them so I can’t speak to how long they will last, but even if they are short lived I would still recommend this activity whole heartedly.
