Q: Can I brew a pod single cup of coffee while the other side is set up to auto brew for the morning? Or do i have to reset the auto brew after I brew a single cup? thanks

A: We have this coffee maker and use it all day, every day. You can NOT do both at once and says so in the manuual as well. Not an isuues at all for us, just wanted to be corect on this.

Q: The back of coffee maker has a slot that looks like it should have some sort of rubber to keep water from coming out. I added the water and I had water all over the counter HELP !!!!!

A: Thanks for your inquiry! The SS-16 unit does have a compatible, reusable filter that can be loaded with your choice of coffee grounds. This is not an espresso maker.

Q: I am having a problem with the pods lately. The coffee grounds come up through the top hole and go all over the top of the kcup. It goes into the coffee sometimes, too. Does anyone have this problem?

The cup size selector should have a dial with specific size detents and clicks. I only make 10oz coffee. So why should I need to press the selector to switch out of the default 8 oz into 10oz. Add a dial with various oz settings.

I end up with grounds due to the overflow in the filter. So I'm using less coffee and that's okay. I am using the gold basket without a paper filter. Using the paper filter in the receptacle seems to make more grounds. So use less coffee, don't use a paper filter and good luck. A bit frustrated!

I really love my new coffee center 2-in-1, however, I have to take the water reservoir out of the center after brewing a cup or water runs all over the counter. It is very disappointing to have the reservoir sitting separately on the counter. I’m not sure how to fix this problem as I’ve already returned one for the same issue.

We bought the Coffee Center 2-in-1 Coffeemaker after a recent visit to my sisters home. I told her that we just had to finally replace our old Cuisinart 12 cup programable coffee maker after it developed an internal leak after many years of service. We purchased a new Cuisinart 12 cup "stainless steel" programable coffee maker and were soon disappointed with the machine. First of all unlike our old machine it was almost entirely made of plastic and felt like it was low quality. Additionally the carafe did not pour correctly and often we would end up with water (while filling) or coffee (while pouring) if it poured too fast on the counter top. Liquid would spill over the sides of the spout. Within a couple of months we decided to replace the new 12 cup with the 2-in-1 machine. We have been presently surprised and enjoy programing as well as the K cup feature. Cuisinart has been redeemed in my opinion. Now I just need to decide what to do with the "new" 12-cup machine that caused much disappointment!

I chose the Cuisinart 2 in 1. Works great. I really like the lid on the pot as it does not leak when pouring like the Keurig would do at times.

I still wanted a dual use machine, and this was the only one they had. There are several things I do not like about it. There are 2 tanks, the main tank is not removable, but the single serve tank is. The carafe is unable to pour a cup of coffee without it running down the side of the pot onto the counter. This is very annoying. You can't just turn on the pot heater without going through the brew cycle. I also don't like the filter choice that was used for the carafe brew. However, it does make a pretty good cup of coffee. It would be nice to be able to change the brew strength of the single serve cups.

I have only had this unit for a sort time but if it performs like the old model then I am all good. The coffee pot side make a really good cup of HOT coffee and the K-cup side does as well but not quite as hot. The duel feature is great.
