Chemical smell

It’s been 10 days since I purchased this crib and the smell is horrendous. The chemical smell coming off of this crib is so strong it gives me a sore throat and I can’t have my baby sleeping in it. I’ve whipped the whole crib down. It did boy help.

Do not buy. It smells horrible.

DO NOT BUY THIS CRIB. I bought this because it said "green guard certified." I'm not so sure about that. It smells absolutely horrible. The crib AND the mattress both stink and have a rotten paint / manufacturing smell. It's been airing out for days and there's been no improvement. I am afraid to put it in my room or the baby's room because of the fumes. Such a waste of time to put it together, only to have to attempt to break it down and return it, or just call it a loss. Spend your money on a different crib!

Missing A Large Piece of the Crib

Missing an entire quarter of the crib. My box was missing one of the main side pieces. Delta says 7-10 days to send replacement. Ridiculous. How do you leave out such a large component? Do not recommend Delta brand. Highly unsatisfied.

As soon as we opened the box we were hit with an extremely harsh chemical smell. It’s hard to believe this meets the Greenguard standards when it smells like nail polish remover. I don’t feel safe putting my baby in it and will be returning it asap. Be careful!

Mattress smells like it was dipped in paint.

Crib its self is sturdy. Box had an unpleasant paint smell when opened but I assumed it was just factory smell. Got the whole thing assembled and went to open the mattress. The mattress is definitely not breathable, its just a thick pad. The mattress also was the cause of the paint smell. I got a headache from it. Will not be using the mattress.

Awful smell to the matress

The crib itself is great it was just what we weee looking for size wise. However, the horrendous odor from the mattress will never be forgiven. We let it air out as the instructions asked us to do to no avail. I would not even let my chickens sleep on that mattress with how horrible it smells. It is absolutely not ok for a child to be sleeping on this. Target has not been helpful with a refund either which has been a bummer. Definitely would recommend not purchasing this item.
