Keep your floors spick and span with the Dirt Devil Upright Vacuum. Equipped with more power to last longer, this vacuum features a quick-release wand for easy cleaning and helps clean debris from tight corners and spaces. The endura max requires no assembly so you can use it as soon as it's out of the box. It includes an empty dirt cup that collects all the dust and dirt, and disposes it with one touch of a button. Whether it is dust particles to pet hair, this vacuum cleaner is sure to keep your space sparkling clean.
Recommended for use on hardwood floors.
Easily dispose of dirt and debris without a vacuum bag.
We had an old Hoover upright die and had to find some inexpensive unit to replace it. I did woodworking in my 20x20 garage and did some work on cars. I covered the floor with thin pile carpet (better than indoor/outdoor). The Hoover did a great job but it was tough looking for replacement parts.
We have a few Dirt Devil products and they're simply OK...nothing special. The Dirt Devil Express is functional for cleanup in the garage. My first impression was that there's a lot of vibration from the roller and much noise.
After using the unit for a few minutes, I checked the name on the vacuum. I figured it might be a HasBro unit rather than Dirt Devil. It's not a heavy duty unit.
You get what you pay for. We find this vacuum does not pick up on a low pile carpet or wood floor unless you have the power turned all the way up. The way the attachment/wand hose wraps around is cumbersome and it’s nowhere near the suction of a Hoover or Dyson. The one small brush attachment does not stay on the end of the wand well and the brush is not angled.

This is the worst vacuum I've ever had. Streaks of dirt all over carpet.

Hi Pawsz, thank you for reviewing the Dirt Devil Endura Max Upright Vacuum. I am sorry you are experiencing suction issues with your vacuum. Here are some helpful tips to improve the suction: check to see if the filter or nozzle is clogged. Turn off the unit and disconnect the nozzle to remove the debris. Also check the hose for any built up debris, and use the handle of a broom to remove. After checking the hose, please be sure to securely connect the hose to your vacuum. We also recommend checking the filter by removing it from your vacuum and tapping out any built up dirt/debris that could be resting on it. Rinse the filter with water until the water runs clear and allow a dry time of 24-36 hours. We hope this helps, but if not, please email DirtDevilCommunity@ttifloorcare.com with a reference to your review and your model number. Thanks, Cierra - Dirt Devil Team

Extremely disappointed in Dirt Devil and their support. This vacuum has been horrible! It constantly gets clogged. I don't have pets or small kids so I'm not vacuuming fur or large items. This thing vacuums for 5 minutes then shuts off because it's overheating. Then I have to take apart the vacuum, screwdriver and everything, to find out if it's clogged and if it is, remove the clog and wait 45 minutes for it to cool down and then start vacuuming again. There is NO universe where I should have to grab tools to clear a clog every time I use this thing!
Then contacting support was surprisingly unhelpful. Today was my second time reaching out to them. The person I spoke with was EXTREMELY rude, argued with me about the product, and then flat out declined to help and told me to call dirt devil for a manager since I was chatting in. She claims since I bought the vacuum at Target they can't refund it and the clogging issue isn't a defect.
Long story short, DON'T BUY THIS VACUUM!
This vacuum is cheaply made and does not pick up. The handle does not stay down which makes it impossible to vacuum.

Nice vac but not the strongest. Good value for the cost but I went back to a $200 vac that sucks dirt and dust better. This one is also awkward to use, bend down to change from carpet to floor...just ok
