  • A: Hi there! Great question. Our Downy Infusions Calm Vanilla & Lavender Dryer Sheets are designed to help eliminate static within the dryer and on your clothes. When you prevent static, it helps in removal of pet hair compared to not using any static reducing laundry product. You should see a difference in lesser hair out of the dryer, as well as easier removal or ‘brush off’ while wearing, but it isn't a product that will fully repel the hair. The Downy Dryer Sheets are not a miracle worker, however it can make a big difference for some people because of this. However, the sheets are not suggested to be used on pet bedding/blankets as some pets can have sensitive skin and the sheets may cause skin irritation. We suggest asking vet what they suggest for keeping pets beds fresh and clean. Please contact us at (800) 688-7638 for any further questions. Your satisfaction is highly important for us at Downy.

    These are the best smelling dryer sheets! I have sensitive nose and don’t like the over chemical smell. These are the perfect balance of vanilla and lavender. Have used them for years.

    These are MASSIVE

    I actually hate using dryer sheets because I feel like there’s no way that the chemicals could possibly be good for you…but they also feel like a necessary evil based on the sheer amount of laundry I do. That being said, I typically break one dryer sheet in half for a regular size load of laundry - even thought it’s probably a pointless step in an effort to ease my mind and minimize the amount of chemicals. I got these dryer sheets because nothing else was available. Got home and they are enormous - like a sheet of printer paper huge. I don’t like them at all. I feel like in the fabrics softener/dryer sheets world, less is more.

    Softens clothes and leaves a light, calming scent
