Overall it’s quiet, except for white noise when it’s on high. I like the sleek design and how most of the functions can be controlled through the Dyson app. I like that the remote control has magnetic dock on the top of the unit so that I don’t misplace it.

Please don't purchase this product. It will NOT heat up half the area specified in their manual. It's a great product but not worth the money unless your room is tiny. In top of that, you need to be less than 1 metre away for the remote to work.

Where we live at spring time might need hot or cold depending on the weather. It heats the room very quickly and quietly. It heats up very quickly so you have instant hot air flow. The filtration is very good, it clearly purifies the surrounding air.

As someone who struggles with asthma, finding anything that makes breathing easier is a big deal. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just received my new Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool in white. Firstly I would like to say it looks amazing in white. Turned it on with the included remote and started testing all the features. I tried the heating and it got hot pretty quickly. Tried the cool and it took about thirty seconds or so to cool back down but once it did the cool breeze was immediately felt. Tried all speeds and above 5 the airflow was sufficient coverage for my living room. The higher speeds at level 9 and 10 you can start hearing a little noise. The filtration works as it did suck in the smoke from an incense I used to test. All in all, great machine.

I love the fact that it is not loud. I have the purifier placed on the floor and the tilting feature allows for greater coverage. I also like how the app gives you suggestions on how to improve the air quality.

The higher the level, the more coverage you get. But once you increase the level, the noise becomes noticeable, but not over bearing. Setting the temperature is easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have debated about getting this product in the past and kept saying no because I have a fan and a purifier separately. In the midst of a really bad allergy season, I finally got to get this fan/purifier combo and am so glad that I got it. The fan part is what kept me from getting it before because I was not sure how good it would be considering its shape but it has proved to be very good in a non traditional way and I have enjoyed its airflow, different settings for rotating through the room, and it has been the best when using while I sleep. I love sleeping with the fan on but wake up feeling horrible during allergy season even with a separate purifier in the room. Having a fan/purifier combo has so far been just what I needed as I have felt comfortable sleeping with it on and feel more energized as I wake up because my allergies aren't causing issues as I sleep. Lastly, I have used the heating function on a limited basis and it has been great. This fan/heater combo has become my favorite to use in several different occasions and to have the flexibility to move room to room easily as needed has been great as well. I have not tried this in a large living room area as I have dedicated purifiers for that purpose, but in the office, bedroom, and other small areas it has worked great!

I have noticed an immediate change in the air quality, with less dust on my shelves and more importantly, all my electronics. The gentle cooling breeze it provides is refreshing, and I cannot wait to use the heating function during our New England winters! The noise level is completely acceptable, providing a steady background "white noise". It circulates the air in my entire office very efficiently. The remote is very intuitive to use, and the LCD front panel is incredibly useful for findings all the settings.

We are in between seasons and it’s nice to use the heat to knock the chill off of our bedroom. You can choose the degree of oscillation which may (or may not) allow for more coverage. I can’t say much about the filtration yet but if it’s anything like my Dyson vacuum I know it’s top notch! I suffer from allergies and a purifier is a must have for me, if anyone is on the fence about making the purchase you won’t be disappointed.
