Q: In this dyson model do you need to keep pressing the button for it to work, or you just press the button on and off?

A: Hello Eli, this is Kelly with Dyson. All Dyson cord-free machines, including the Cyclone V10 Animal, do feature our run-time enhancing trigger. So far pretty good will reserve final judgement for another month or so. Sometimes the battery just stops and shows zero charge even though it is fully charged. Normal can get it going again by moving the buttons around. Still concerned after all these years how Dyson has figured out how to make a more reliable battery.

My life has changed so much. I purchased my Dyson about two weeks ago and it has saved me so much time with the pet hair, my hair and general cleaning. What used to take me an hour and a half now takes me 20 minutes. I’ve only used two attachments, but will definitely use the others. The battery life is great for me as well as the filtration. Not having to pull the hair out of the brush is fantastic.

I held off from buying Dyson for many years and bought several inferior products that turned out to be disappointments. So the old adage applies with cordless stick vacuums, you get what you pay for. My only purchase regret is that I didn't buy it sooner! Purchased additional attachments to make the unit even more indespensible. No issues with battery life, performance and quality of suction.

I finally purchased a Dyson and let me share that it is the best. It’s lightweight and very easy to use. The suction is great I have not used on stairs yet but the attachments are great. Emptying canister is very easy. I am very happy with this purchase and would give it a A+ review.

I’d like to love it however the primary tube connecting the sweeper to the upper section just won’t stay in place. When I put the vacuum in the charger the whole bottom half falls to the floor. There is an issue with that connection. Purchased less than a month ago. When it works, it’s great however having it come apart when charging is an issue. Ours is likely a one off experience.

Wow! This really works. I had my roomba vacuum a room and rug and then went over same with this. I couldn’t believe all the dirt it ducked up! It’s a little heavy and would be nice if there were a way to hold the trigger button down while using g it.

Had this for about 2 months. We use it once per week for the whole house with maybe one day of light use between. Returned it today. Battery does not last, have to charge in the middle of use. Suction is not great, especially on flat, no pile, area rugs.
