Q: Some of the reviews say you have to hold down the power button. Does that mean you have to hold it down to keep the power on while you're vacuuming? That doesn't make sense.
A: Yes, you have to hold the power button the entire time you are vacuuming. Honestly, it's something you get used to as the power button is directly where you hold the vacuum. It's only mildly inconvenient for cleaning surfaces other than floors. And it greatly helps with the battery.

A: Mine doesn’t have a light for the floor. I don’t think this model comes with one.

submitted byJbarnes - 9 months agoA: Honestly, this is the worst vacuum I’ve ever purchased and I would give you a zero out of 10 and ever works. The broom works better. The battery doesn’t stay charged. I did manage to buy it on severe sale, but it isn’t even worth 20 bucks.

Q: Will the vacuum work on laminated floors.
A: WRONG!!! You can NOT turn off the brush roll as there is NO hardwood floor setting on the Dyson Digital Slim Cordless Stick Vac. It always remains on when vacuuming.

A: Not likely. It would require a dual voltage transformer.
