After showing him to do it once, he picked up no problems at all. He was even able to show his two year old sister how to do it. I did receive this product as a sample to try out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8 year old daughter loved this crafting kit. She was so excited that there were a dozen different designs for her to work on. The colors are vibrant and the designs very playful. She said she wants to buy another as soon as she finishes this first set because it's so fun. Her only recommendation would be to have extra color sheets for allowing her to add her own color variations to the designs. It was also a little tricky to get the color pieces in just right so that they didn't fall off. Overall, we both loved it.

She thought it was fun and as a daily crafter this kept her busy for awhile. It was easy to use with clear instructions and was very durable. I assisted her with the first couple pieces but once she got the hang of it she cruised through the rest on her own. I wouldn't describe this as challenging for her but I see how it could be slightly more challenging for a smaller child. I would definitely buy this product again for both of my kiddos. It is great for hand eye coordination and something they can do with little assistance. I think it would make as a great gift for a birthday or Christmas as well!

My kids have struggled with hand strength (cutting, coloring in the lines) but they were happily able to complete this craft. Not too easy where they got bored but easy enough where they didn't want to give up.

My daughter loves arts and crafts so I knew she would love this kit! She wouldn't stop making it and ended up finishing 6 the very first time! She loved using the tufting tool to make 3D textured art and the garden themed cards are so cute! I love that she is working on her fine motor skills and using her creativity at the same time! It comes with different fabric squares to punch into the holes. This is such a unique arts and craft kit! I am planning on taking this kit with us on our next road trip and plane ride!
