DO NOT BUY!
The glass cracked on our first use. I suspect it’s because it was in the fridge right before microwaving. We used pyrex glass for 5+ years and they never cracked. We did not treat these any different so I’m shocked at how fragile they are considering they are for “meal prep”. I don’t recommend these at all.

Broken dish, manufacurer recommends allowing food to reach room temperature prior to heating
The containers are great. But, I had one crack. I reached out to the manufacturer and they gave me a runaround about not heating the containers too quickly. I indicated to them that these are advertised as meal prep containers. They recommended allowing them to reach room temperature prior to heating. That is unsafe food handling. So either they are meal prep containers or they are not, but if they think you should allow bacteria growth proir to food consumption, I'd argue they are not and should be recalled.

Stay away
These started off working well, but then the plastic seal on the inside of the lid comes off and doesn't go back in. Such a waste.

These initially were amazing well built containers, but after a few months we had one completely crack in half at work in the microwave. No lid on while microwaving, seems like from the other reviews this is a result of taking it from the fridge and placing it in the microwave. Wanted to like these because they look great, but they don't hold up to the basic function of a food container

Cute but Fragile
I bought these for the pretty colors but within two weeks of having them 2 of the containers broke! One of the containers split in the microwave and another chiped of a large chunk in our kitchen drawer. Very disappointing.

Broke in Microwave...
I was initially impressed they did not leak and were the perfect size for meal prep and using for lunches. But…took it out of the work fridge one day, put it in the microwave for 45 seconds and it broke right down the middle within 30 seconds. I did reach out to ello & they told me they have heard of these breaking with temperature changes…so it isn’t safe to take out of the fridge & put in the microwave

Please Beaware- Glass essily break
Please be careful with these. I stored them stacked in each other and some manage to chip. Thought nothing too much of it at first and considered hey it happens. Until one day I heated up my food and ended almost swallowing a piece of glass from the ridge. The container wasn’t broken before I put it in the microwave. I would be very careful I got so scared I threw away the container

Well made, cute colors!
These kinds of sets, this brand especially, leans more expensive. But I do think they’re really well made and seem worth it! Used about a month now. The lids wash well in the dishwasher and still snap well. Leak proof. I love the colors (that’s what sold me initially). Great versatile size! I use these for lunches, or fill to the brim with a batch of leftovers.
