Ember Travel Mug 2 12oz Temperature Control Smart Mug

My wife loves the color and hasn’t taken it out of the box, except to get a closer look and to feel it for a moment. What an anniversary gift I got her! 😆

I've owned one of these for 6 months. It is not worth the extreme cost. The charging coaster will stop working because one of the pins will be recessed. They will cover it under warranty and replace but it took a month to get the replacement. Also, the top is hard to clean and keep clean. Using hot soapy water does not work and the top will become disgusting very quickly. This causes the top to grow mold inside it. After cleaning it if I shake it gunk will come out of it. Trying to disassemble the top breaks it and you will need to buy a new one.

The lid does not work with only having the cup for four months

Lid broke after 1 month. Replacement has proved difficult at best.

I love this cup it was givin to me as a gift.only complaint i have is the lid breaks and wont stay open.i bought a replacement lid bur it broke too.still a great cup

I must say I am impressed with Ember products but I give them a three star because I’ve replaced my charging base on my regular cup multiple times and now the lid is broken on my travel mug and there’s none in stock. This company seems to have a problem maintaining stock. Not to mention their app is very flaky and I’ve had to reload my mugs twice now. When I buy a product from a company, I’m creating a relationship with that company and so far this relationship is a bit one-sided.

I would probably buy this if I could just plug it into the same USB-C cable I use to charge everything else including my computer at home/car/truck/boat/work. I get that people might not want to have an attached cable, and the stand is slicker when sitting at a desk, but for me, there's no way am I getting multiple ember-proprietary charger stands, or carrying them around with me. It would be slightly better if it used standard wireless charging, but I'd still want the wired connection.

I have owned Travel Mug 1 and Travel Mug 2. They are excellent for keeping products at the appropriate temperature while the battery lasts. Beware - Huge product flaw with the lid. It is a spring and latch activated lid that you can push down to lock open and push down again to close. This system is poorly designed and fails regularly into the closed position. I do not use this function and only keep my mug lid in the open position. With the way the mug is designed, I have never felt a need to close it. My third lid just failed this morning and I have only had this current replacement lid for 8 months. This needs to be addressed.

I have bought 3 of these. Worked great for a month or two, but now all three don’t hold a charge and are useless.

Battery station doesn’t work properly. Pins are always getting stuck regardless of how neat I keep it.

The mug seems to work great, keeps the coffee at the desired temp. However the lid for it broke on the inside and now it won’t stay open to drink. The 1 star is for the complete lack of service. I have reached out to support a twice and received the automated response stating my query had been received. I offered to just buy the lid, I am not looking for anything free, I just want to use the mug! That was weeks ago now with no further response. It is a very expensive mug to have this happen and not get any support.

Love the mug. Hate that it stains (white). Even when sprayed with Dawn and soaked overnight, stains remain.

I received this as a gift for christmas and it already isn't working. Just says battery cooling. When I put it on the charger the writing isn't even legible?

The mug is great. However, the lid stopped working within a month. It is stuck in the open position.

The lid on this mug is garbage. I have had them replace the lid twice now, and they stopped answering my requests for a third since the other two also busted within a few weeks,.

I have had my mug 3 years now and it still works great. Only issue is I have to replace the lid every 8 months or so due to the seal loosening. Otherwise I love my travel cup!!! I don't alway get to finish my morning coffee right away at work and it keeps it hot until I can.

One month later, I’m so happy to have this Cup ! No more cold Coffee ! I can enjoy My Coffee in My Time. Thank You.
