We have bought 4 of the Bedgear Dri-tec Performance mattress protectors. They stop spills from getting onto your mattress. Outstanding performance. Worth the higher price. Wish they were a bit less costly, however.

Not only is it a very well made mattress pad, it stays right where it's supposed to be despite my husband's constant playing with the remote of the adjustable base. It also keeps us cool and comfortable and protects the mattress.
