    Less Scented Powder Detergent for Dark Clothes is Requested

    The last time I used Gain powder detergent it cleaned well but had a strong scent that lingered in my clothes until the next wash cycle. It also has optical brighteners which made my black clothes and dark jeans look dull and faded. Would very much like a powder detergent for dark clothes. It is also concerning that almost all of the laudry products on the shelves at Target are manufactured by two or three companies. For example, Gain, Tide, Downy and Ariel products are all made by Proctor and Gamble, which gives the false impression of separate brands competing with each other for your business. I would like to see more competition (capitalism) on the shelves. It is better for consumers to have companies acutally compete for out business instead of monopolizing shelf space.

    I never really used powder that much.But when I saw gaine had a box, I had to get some.I love the smell of gain.It smells great.The packaging is pretty and the box is easy to store.I am able to use game with my baby as well as all my clothes.That need heavy duty cleaning.I love the versatility of gain

    So fresh and clean!

    After hearing very positive reviews of the product I was excited to try it out. Within the first load I could smell and feel a difference in my clothes. If you have hard to get rid of smells and want your laundry a little softer, Gain Powder Detergent is definitely the detergent for you.

    I really like this detergent, it dissolves all the way, it takes the light stains out of clothes, and smells amazing. I prefer this over the liquid or pods as it seems to work a lot better, in my opinion. It leaves the clothes feeling soft too.

    REMOVES BLOOD STAINS!!!

    I used this to pretreat some blood stained clothes I had since I ran out of my normal pretreating spray. I used some hot water to make a paste and rubbed it onto the stain and let it sit. I rinsed off the paste and washed as normal and the stains were gone without a trace. Smells great, works fantastic and a little goes a long way.
