Q: Does this watch have a small band as well as a large band?

A: Yes, however, Black is the only one that comes in large, the other colors are small/medium.

I like the Vivosmart 5. I have a small wrist. It works for me. I like the features, better than I thought. I tested the strength training, it was great. Next was the treadmill. I still have to figure that one out. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. I do recommend downloading the book on the watch. It is easy to understand and will save a lot of time trying to figure out the features.

I bought the Vivosmart 5 to wear instead of my 245 Forerunner when I want to wear my regular dress watches. I really like its sleek design and accuracy. It is pretty straightforward and intuitive to use. I think any new technical design definitely needs to offer HRV and a vibrant color screen that is easier to see similar to the Fitbit Charge 6.

I've used my Garmin for about a month now, and I love all the features so much. The data it collects is great for someone like me with a chronic illness who wants to track her metrics. However, I can't stand the band! I wish there were more options. There's nothing from 3rd parties because of the odd shape of the vivosmart 5 itself and nothing official from Garmin either. I wish there were more comfortable options, perhaps something stretchy or leather. I got this one in part because I thought it was slim, but the case makes it a bit bulky.

I started utilizing the watch and have no problems wearing it. It doesn't break my skin out, so that is great. Im not sure if I can wear when taking a shower so I take off each time.

I wish it were more like a round regular watch. I guess for some reason theses have to be silicone but im not a fan of that or the shape and thickness of it. Also, the black and white display is very boring. I think a colored display would make it much easier to read and more enjoyable to use.

I have had a Vivosmart for several years now. I’m primarily a cyclist but enjoy the added training data and features made available by using the Vivosmart. Such data and features include the sleep score, body battery, and pulse oximeter. The accuracy of these readings are similar to other wrist-based devices and sufficient for my needs. The battery capacity is as advertised. I would prefer a device without screen to reduce the size and would also prefer the improved heart rate monitoring system Garmin utilizes on the newer watches. Finally, I would also like to see the device automatically pair with Edge cycling computers.
