Q: Does this watch have a small band as well as a large band?

A: Yes, however, Black is the only one that comes in large, the other colors are small/medium.

Had to replace my vivosmart 4 because the battery charger wouldn't connect anymore. I am a senior so I don't need as many of the activity apps. The vivosmart 5 is a little more advanced than the 4 with better accuracy and more info added. The only issue that bothers me is that the battery doesn't last as long as I would like but it does charge quickly.

I purchased this watch a couple weeks ago to keep track of movement and sleep. The battery, if used continuously doesn't last more than 30 hours! I wear it to bed for sleep data, exercise in the a.m. and recharge it while showering and making breakfast. This is the only way I can ensure I'll not have the watch stop during my afternoon walk. There was no warning of low battery when it did stop during a recorded activity. (Frustrating.) The watches movement reminder likes to remind me to move just after I've been running around the house but NOT when I've been sitting and working too long. The sleep program and other programs give me mixed data—statements like "your high activity yesterday impacted your sleep in a negative way" Stuff like that after a day of REST, and vice versa. I'm using the watch as a pedometer on my outside walks. It seems to handle that well when synced to my iPhone GPS. I would not recommend this watch for more than a pedometer.

I've had this for a little over a month now and would buying again. Tracks health and exercise data nicely. Tracking oxygen 24/7 drains the battery. I tracker it during sleep only and now get 4 to 5 days from a full charge.

This is kind of between a tracker and a smart watch. A few features are missing from Garmin's full-featured watches that I wasn't aware they lacked. It's good for basic tracking, but it shows that there is a gap in the Garmin product line for those of us who don't want a full smart watch but want all the advanced metrics.

I received this smartwatch to product test and it is hands down the best item that I have ever received. Since I have been wearing it I have become much more active and I feel confident about keeping track of my health. This watch keeps up with steps, sleeping, pulse ox, heart rate and so much more. It connects to my mobile phone so it's so easy to see who is emailing and messaging me without having to stop and pick up my phone. I am in love with this smartwatch and I never take it off.

I recd the vivo smart 5 watch to test.I downloaded the apps ( Garmin & Connect) but could not finish the form so the watch & apps were compatible.The face of the watch was so small & very hard to read.I couldn't figure out how to see everything that I was supposed toilo, but it did count my steps .I wasn't satisfied.

I got this watch over a month ago, and it is really great. It keeps a charge for a long time, I am talking days. You can wear it in the shower, too. I love the sleep, stress, and body battery aps. I don't think the pulse O2 works great but everything else is perfect. I am a farmer so I don't do organized exercise, but I do strength, carrying 50# feed bags and hay bales, so I use the other activity . I do lots of steps too. I love the challenges. I LOVE this Watch, thank you Garmin and ipsos

I've had the vivosmart5 for a couple of months now after 15 years with another brand. The Vivosmart has great features, but it doesn't start timing a run until 5 minutes in, and trying to manually set the activity to start initiates requests for all the time location data from my phone (I have it set to when the app is open, which is usually)...and I don't run with my phone so manual tracking is a bit awkward. Working to find a way around these quirks.

The really wonderful thing about this is how lite and easy it is to wear. Garmin Connect is also a major plus. Its intuitive and syncs with Apple Health which I really appreicate. I do not like the auto-activity feature. Its not as reliable or as easy to use as fitbit. the interface on the watch itself is unintuitive and confusing. Any setting on the watch should be configurable from the App. Your making a mistke making these sensors into a stylish screen of settings...its why Apple Watch completely fails. This is about the activity, not the device. Overall pleased. Needs work.
