A: These are fine edge "straight" edges, not micro serrated. The Steak knives are half serrated, and the Bread and Serrated utility are serrated, but not micro serrated.

Obsessed!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got them and I’m very excited about getting them. I’m a huge fan of the brand since my mother in law gave me a pair. So far, I feel them super lightweight, excellent quality.

Very sharp knives
I've waited way too long to finally order these knives! I'm 73 and my husband has kept our knives as sharp as possible, but none compare to these! Going to make food prep so much easier!

These knives are awful!
Worst knife set ever. They started rusting within just a few weeks, even though I followed all the care instructions and washed them exactly as directed. The entire set was disappointing. The blades are dull, the knives discolored badly, the handles are slippery and most of the steak knives had oddly shaped serrated teeth that made cutting almost anything difficult. Even bread would just tear apart instead of slicing cleanly. Definitely would not recommend these. I ended up returning the whole set.

So disappointed…
We purchased this set for our lake cabin. Soooo disappointed. Less than a year old and finish is coming off some of the handles and some of the blades are actually rusting. They do not get hard use and we purchased the sharpeners for them. We don’t have a dishwasher at the cabin so they are always hand washed and dried. Cabin is climate controlled year-round. Terrible quality and we sharpen them regularly because they dull so quickly. We won’t be purchasing Henckels again.

BEWARE!
I wish I could give 0 stars. I absolutely loathe these knives! They began to rust shortly after purchase around a year and a half ago, and recently the color coating on the handles has started peeling. I regret this purchase so much!

Not actually dishwasher safe
The knives cut fine but they safe dishwasher safe. Running them through the dishwasher just once and they came out with little rust spots on them. Some of the spots came off when we used steel wool scrubber but some didn’t and we can see them weeks later. Honestly if we would have kept the box we would have returned them.

Color not as pictured
Knives work great but the color of the block is not as pictured at all. The wood block does not look like light wood as pictured it’s just a true gray color. It’s just a gray block, does not look like wood

The finish on the handles came off after the first trip through the dishwasher; that doesn’t really seem as though the product is dishwasher safe. Luckily I am well within my return window and will not be keeping this set, the quality is well below the price point.

Poor quality
I've owned this set for two years now. These knives look nice, and the variety of blade types and sizes is nice, but all quality is absymal. Whether hand-washed or machine washed, all knives started showing rusty spotting on the blades and the coating on the handles began to peel within the first few months. Do not recommend.
