I just bought this yesterday at our local hardware store, returned it today. It is difficult to put together, VERY heavy to push around, blows a ton of air all over the place and on the very first use, the cord would not retract. Tried to call the company, no luck, tried to go on line, no luck.

I loved this model so much i bought it x2! Had no trouble with my other one at my 2nd home but once I sold that house I was in Vegas full time and only then did i discover my 2nd one came missing a couple of important parts; the upholstery tool and the wand extender. Tried with no luck sitting on hold, asking for call backs, emailing and chatting for WEEKS and HOURS. I would love it if someone from Hoover would contact me to rectify this!

Previous Hoover lasted ten+ years, so bought another! Love everything except the inconvenient on/off switch for emergencies, and the attachments are total crap (kept the old ones - way better).

Bought 2 of these vacuums just over a year ago. Last month, the retractable cord stopped working. Seems Hoover quality has gone downhill.

Emptying the dirt cup is difficult.

The release button on the dirt cup is stiff and hard to push. The dirt cup does not come apart like previous Hoovers I have owned. In order to clean out the dirt cup i need to stick my hand up inside and pull the dirt out. My vacuum is overloaded in the attached video because I absolutely hate cleaning it out because I can't do it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is so loud and dose not pick up the best. It kind of sprays the dirt around such as litter and hair. The cord is not very long but it is nice that you can press a button to wind it up. The power button is also in a weird spot.

The only thing I am not a fan of is with the newer model the on/off switch is in a bad place. I hope they put it back to the original spot as it was more convenient. Thank you for a great vacuum!!

Had it for less than 6 months and the whole base of the hose got clogged with hair, when the main selling point of the vaccum says it's good for pet hair. It's also not easy to reach that bottom part of the vaccum to clean it out either.

The cord rewind feature is terrible. We had a Hoover years ago with the cord rewind and it was a one touch amazing feature, the new Hoover is awful. It takes 10 minutes of fidgeting to get the cord in. There's not enough tension in mechanism to pull the cord in. It's sucks.
