Great, until it refused to hold a charge.

The controller is light weight, easy to use, and cute. Just not a fan of the fact that I purchased it 4 months ago and after the 3rd charge it won't turn on anymore.

Was great.. while it worked.

I purchased this controller in December of 2024. By July, it had stick drift. To be fair, it got a LOT of use during that time, but considering that 6 months is beyond both Target's return window (fair, they're just the retailer) and Hori's very limited (90 day) warranty.... I can't say that it was worth the purchase. I should have just paid the little bit extra for a pro controller, or maybe something with hall effect sticks. It's a cute controller, and when it works, it was flawless and gave me zero problems. Very light, comfortable, and responsive. .. but I expect more than 6 months out of a controller before it goes out on me.. so i'm still giving it a rating of mid

Yoshi is the Best

This controller looks and feels great. Also, Yoshi is my absolute favorite Mario character for a number of reasons. I once read that Yoshis reproduce asexually. Meaning that they reproduce without a mate and are neither male nor female which is really cool.
