    If you like to use your own coffee. You need new specific to this exact brewery, stainless steel k cups. It won't work with the the stainless steel reusable k cups from my old duo non ice coffee maker.

    The single-serve portion works fine; however, the coffee brewed with the carafe is only lukewarm. It's not hot when first brewed or after sitting in the carafe on the warming element. When my husband brews his coffee, he has to brew it and then microwave it to get it hot, even for the first cup.

    This machine is great! I’m the only one in my family that drinks caffeinated coffee. I can brew a pot of coffee for my family members who drink decaf coffee and brew a single cup of caffeinated coffee for myself! There are many coffee options to choose from as well. I’m in the trial era at the moment, not sure which coffee brand/flavor is yet my favorite. I just tried the iced coffee option and could take it or leave it, but then I’m not much of an iced coffee drinker. Usually if I want an iced coffee or blended iced coffee I’ll make a trip to my local coffee shop. Overall this machine serves all of my coffee needs!

    After about 40 days since purchase this machine stopped brewing pods without giving an error message. It’s “Er 3” and “PR 5” which mean the machine needs to be descaled. We did descaled it and still it doesn’t work. We have called Kuerig directly so we will see if they will exchange it or refund it as we didn’t buy a warranty through Target. I do not recommend you buy this if you want it to work for more than 40 days. Or make sure you get the warranty!

    This is my 3rd Keurig. My wife complains that there is too much plastic with the pods. So I decided to buy this model that offers a carafe option. My wife brews her coffee by pouring hot water over a filter that drips to her cup. SO MESSY and TIME CONSUMING FOR ONE CUP. My only complaint is that I would like to be able to brew one cup of coffee in the carafe but Keurig says not to. Rather I should use the pod instead for single serve. That’s OK for me as I love the easiness of making no messy coffee for one drink at a time. Other than that , I find the Keurig to be an amazing mechanical engineering design that is so easy to use.
