A: Yes, it is a warming plate. It will automatically turn on during any carafe size of Classic or Rich brew. You can adjust the length of time (up to 4 hours) it stays on. It also has 3 temperature settings (Hi, Med, Lo).

A: California’s Proposition 65 doesn’t single out this coffee maker for any unique hazard, it simply requires a warning label whenever a product contains even trace amounts of any of the more than 900 chemicals on the state’s list (such as lead in electronic components, certain plastics or adhesives) above very low thresholds. The label is a legal mandate, not an indication that your coffee maker is unsafe when used as intended.

Not to diss anyone else’s review but I suspect others who are concerned about heat did not read what setting they were on when they brewed. The cold brew settings are slower and have the heating plate off. The hot coffee settings are like a normal machine. The thing works just fine.

It was great in the beginning but after a couple months, it showed an error to add water even tho the correct amount was in it then it wouldn’t even brew.

The dummest coffee maker ever. The coffee comes out warm, you would think the heater should help make it hot? No, it only activates when you make full pot of coffee? What’s the point?

We just bought this coffee maker , used the single cup brew ~ and I agree w those who said the coffee isn’t hot at all !! It is barely luke warm ~ I do not want to have to microwave my coffee to get it hot when a coffee machine is supposed to do that !! So I guess I’ll be returning this Ninja Coffee Machine and research again for another coffee machine ~ sorry Ninja but this was a swing and a miss !!!

Very easy to use and not a lot of extra garbage to clean up like with the Keurig if I want one cup, I have one cup if I want the whole pot, I can have the whole pot. It’s wonderful.

Product works as advertised; my only concern is the water reservoir doesnt develop green bacteria for the water trapped inside the water inlet. You have to manually release the remaining water after every use.

It's ok. It has the tendency to stop half way through a brew and not finish. We have to turn it off and reset it then turn it back on.

I was really enjoying this coffee maker and then after 4 months it stopped regulating the amount of water that flowed. If you put 50 ounces in the reservoir, it doesn't matter what setting, you got all 50 ounces of water.

Totally pleased and delighted. This makes coffee that I really like, particularly the "rich" setting. I'm very experienced w coffee making and this truly works for me and reduces the labor involved. I wish there were less plastic, perhaps something to look forward to in the future?

Purchased this as a treat to myself to replace a single brew coffeemaker. Machine was easy to set up and understand. Really did not need instructions except for brew modes and how much coffee you get as to not overflow my coffee mugs. The coffee tastes great I prefer the bold mode my wife likes regular. May take some time getting to know many scoops you like for strength. The over ice is a great way to enjoy an iced coffee which will get more use in Summer.

Excellent coffee maker! Purchased one for personal use, loved it so much I purchased a second for my mother for her birthday. We needed a new coffee maker for work, so I purchased one for work. Everyone loved how easy and fast it brewed. The multiple size options were a real hit since we do not have to make an entire pot of coffee if someone wanted a late afternoon cup of coffee. The Ninja was so easy and less mess than our old "grind and brew", we decided to purchase another and to replace the second "grind and brew" coffee maker. The Ninja Hot & Iced XL Coffee Maker has been a real game changer at work, home and my parent's house. Plus, it doesn't take up as much counter space since the depth is not as much as a standard coffee pot. TIP: I read some reviews before we purchased our first Ninja about the coffee tasting like plastic. I have never had that problem with any of the four I have purchased. The secret is to wash the plastic water bin with soap and water, run two full pots of half vinegar, half water and then two plain water pots before making a cup of coffee. This last one I purchased, I only did one pot of half vinegar and half water, then one plain water pot. No plastic taste. You will not regret buying the Ninja.

Liked design and functions, I first dealt with a coffee maker not producing hot coffee; would have to microwave to get to a suitable temp. but when it stopped making the amount of coffee, I would choose 8oz, then 12oz or more, and it only makes 8oz or less. returning the product.

Bad water flow from filter

I bought the Ninja Hot & Iced coffee maker in September of 2023. Loved it for the first 9 months, but now not so much. Most of the time I use the travel size when brewing my morning coffee, but when it is finished it always leaves about an inch of water in the filter. I close the flow, wait a few seconds and then open it back up and a little bit will come out, so I do this several times to get all the water out of the filter. Help!! Other than this I love this machine.
