I bought this and it only toasted on one side and that was only on half of the bread, and no I didn’t have the bagel button on. I contacted the company and they send me a new one again only to have this one do the same thing. I’m done.

I’m so sad to write an unsatisfactory review regarding a Kitchenaid appliance BUT…this toaster just isn’t good. It is so very slow. I have to get the toaster going and then begin to cook the eggs. The eggs finish and the roaster is still toasting. I’ve wondered if I have a “lemon”. It’s too late to return it but I just wanted to give my report. I’m going to pitch it and buy a different brand.

Also, I have never owned a toaster that beeps when it has completed its cycle. I am still deciding if I like this feature or not. This toaster toasts pretty well for me and the extra wide slots are nice for bagels and odd size bread. HOWEVER- THERE IS A VERY LOUD !BEEP! when done toasting that wakes my whole house up and gives me a panic attack. I mean this thig is LOUD. whoever designed that feature needs to re-evaluate their career. I'm really disappointed.
