Not Quality Toaster
I bought this toaster based on reviews. I did not want a cheap inferior quality toaster. I thought I was getting quality. We have had the toaster 6 days. From day 1 it has not toasted evenly. One side is perfectly toasted and the other half done. This is not quality! This toaster also takes a long time to toast. We could live with that if the toaster toasted evenly. I feel that I have wasted my money. I think that I even have to pay to return this toaster for another one!

We recommend unplugging the toaster for 5 minutes and plugging it back in. If the bread still won't toast on both sides, please call 1-833-426-3393 for next steps.

Toast doesn’t toast
My second new GE toaster does NOT toast both sides of the bread. One side is only slightly toasted. Toasters have been around for over a century….why can’t it accomplish the simple toast! I want a refund….not a replacement.

Great Features

Beautiful unit.
Product is beautiful, works well, however, does not toast evenly. Outer elements toast more than the inner ones. We have only used the unit 2X though.

Great toaster with positive settings for toasting
I especially like this toaster cause it has a knob that has a positive click when turned for different levels of toasting. I returned a Cuisinart toaster cause it had a loose turn knob! And it makes great toast-a bit light in places but overall a great replacement toaster. Worth the higher price!

Great features
Just got it, and have to say, that I love the design and features - looks good with my other GE appliances. Toasts evenly and more quickly than the one I replaced.

2-slot toaster for toast and English muffins
Great for an old guy that likes toast for morning and sandwich's plus it's great for English muffins too. Easy to set and easy to control.

First New Toaster in 40 years
Really like the looks and quality feel of the product. Only wish it would brown better. Even set at the darkest setting, I sometimes have to put toast and english muffins back in for another round.

We'd like to assist with your toaster's uneven browning. It's extremely important that your toaster is set upright on a firm, level, heat resistance surface. This helps to ensure that your unit will toast evenly. Additionally, you'll want to check the browning setting selected for toasting. We recommend select a lower setting next time if your toast is too dark and a higher setting if your toast is too light. Also, be sure to check that the Frozen button is not selected.

Fabulous Toaster!!!!!
This toaster is beyond fabulous! It has a luxury design and functioning capacity. The toast comes out perfectly based on any level of selection. It was a little pricey, but worth it!

Cooks evenly and taste great
After tons of research we finally decided to buy the GE toaster oven and we are very pleased with this decision. If you want your toast evenly cooked and tasty this is the best toaster by far. The design and features are a plus and the constitution and functionality does its job correctly.

GE-2 / Slice Toaster
So far, no issue. My one concern is when handling the Toaster, fingerprint marks are all over the toaster. It does wipe off but I thought with stainless steel, you wouldn't see the fingerprintsl
