dont waste money.2 in less than 10 days stopped working after less than 7 uses combined
This is by far the worst product I have ever purchased. Period . I bought this item on the 9th of October. On the 14th after 4 uses, it wouldn't turn on. I exchanged it on the 18th. On the 19th, after one use, it stopped working again. This is supposed to be a heavy duty motor to mix large batches and so far all I made was pancake batter and cornbread for a family of 4.... I tried to get help from kitchen aid and spent 2 hours on the website only having large appliances as an option. I was so excited to use this and now I'm so over it I don't even want to bother making anything at all.

Worked for less than 5 minutes. Didn’t even get to completely mix one batch of dough. I’ve had my classic for 12 years and had to finish making dough in that one.

VERY disappointed! If it's not right don't ship it
10 minute +/- run time on speed 3 making cookies right out of the box and it just quit. Not hot just quit! Contacted KA and they replaced immediately. New one came and same thing happened. Contacted KA again and it seems they are having an issue with 5.5 & 7 qt mixers but are sending them out anyway (great way to lose current and future customers). Also, only 1 person processing returns so have to wait 2-3 weeks to verify returning original before moving forward with new replacement. Used a KA mixer for 17 years with no issues until owner left with it. If not for that longevity I would be demanding a refund instead of giving 2 other chances to make it right. No more!

Disappointed
I'm so disappointed. On first use, the paddle did maybe 3 rotations and then stopped. Now it won't turn on at all. The outlet is good, everything is connected properly. I was so looking forward to baking with this new mixer. (Just purchased 9/2.) What a drag.

I bought this mixer during circle week and the mixer I received seemed to be new but upon further inspection, somebody returned their used mixer that had been previously used. I’m extremely disappointed because I bought a new mixer not a refurbished one. Hoping that this does not seem to be an issue for people moving forward. Seems fishy.

Replace painted attachments
Bought this stand mixer about 5 months ago for a stronger motor for making bagel dough. So far it has functioned very well! This morning after making a batch of cookies I noticed paint chipped off of the stock paddle attachment when using the stock bowl. Huge bummer to have to remake the cookie dough due to paint chips! This is not safe and should not be happening.. Hopefully they reconsider paint covered attachments, if you’re buying this recommend upgrading those immediately.

Disappointment
I bought it 2 days ago I started to make loaf dough after 3 minute literally stop mixer not even warm just stop after 3 minute first use unbelievable. That is my second stand mixer first one was extremely well made no problem no issues but this is sorry to say but junk big time disappointment.

Very bad
It’s absolutely not useful at all. You can’t use the small plate because the food keeps falling off and spilling, it never stays in place. I really regret buying it because I can’t use it, and I paid a fortune for it.

Bad Bowl Shape
The wider bowl shape is a constant problem for me. When the beaters start up flour and sometimes liquid get thrown out of the bowl. I wish I had my old one back or my husband had listened to what our daughter told him to buy for me!

The Ultimate Kitchen Machine
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I am so happy I invested in such a high-quality and versatile tool. I find the lift design more powerful and sturdy than the tilt models. I use my mixer multiple times a week. I love the grater and slicer attachments and the food processor attachment. They make meal prep fast and easy. They are also easy to clean. I also love the ease of using the regular bowl attachments. The matte black looks great on my counter and I’ve gotten compliments from guests for its aesthetic. I can't wait to try more attachments in the future!
