I bought this as a Christmas present for my 6 year old. I was so impressed with how her soaps turned out. The only assistance I provided was reading the instructions and putting the cubes in the microwave (and keeping things tidy). We are a crystal loving family, but I was impressed she attempted fluorite and citrine looking soaps :) We will be making more for sure as gifts, I would recommend adding a few drops of essential oil to the mix. It doesn’t smell too good on its own- very harsh like hair dye tbh.

This kiwico crystal soap making kit was alot of fun for seven and eleven year old. The kits comes with everything you need and the directions were easy to follow. My children were very excited to receive this set. I think this would be a great birthday or Christmas gift.

Fantastic family activity my 10-year-old really enjoy doing these and there was a wide margin for error in case mistakes were made. Which makes it a great non-frustrating that activity for the family. The end results are really Cute soap, That can be used at home or even gifted because they’re super unique and pretty. 10 out of 10 enjoyable

this soap kit is amazing it had everything i needed to make my soaps and the instuctions where easy to follow it was a very fun activity for my child to do they loved making cool crystal shape soap and they turned out great the process didnt take long at all came with everything even the molds to do the soaps i think it makes a great gift for anyone i highly recommend

This was a cool experiment for both myself and my child. Although I did feel like I needed to do most of the steps to keep her from touching it while it was pretty warm, the end result was worth it! The crystals turned out so pretty and it was really great to have it actually be something we could use later. The colors choices are lovely and it really does feel like you made a crystal. The entire process is not too long at all, and the instructions are thorough. I especially appreciate the messiness and parent involvement ratings. I will be getting more of these, for sure!

So I got the KiwiCo Crystal Ombre Soapmaking Kit. It has everything you need to make beautiful soap shaped like different gems. It says you can make 4 different bars of soap and it comes with two different shapes molds. I got this for my six year old granddaughter for Christmas! She loves arts and crafts and we can make soap for her and some smaller ones for Barbie and friends to find during bath time! I think it's a great kit, your making soap and learning about the process at the same time!

My 7 year old son absolutely loves STEAM activities. This is a really cool soap making kit. It’s scientific and creative and then can be used for actual purpose. This would make a great gift for elementary to young middle school.

This Kiwico Crystal Ombre Soap Making kit was so much for my kids. They were able to easily follow the instructions on their own and create some cute soap. They dove right into making it as soon as they got it. They love that they could color it themself and make it their own. They have been using the soap since the have made it. I can't wait to check out some of the other kits.

My daughter loves all things crafts and has taken an interest in science experiments. This soap kit had her name written all over it! The instructions are very clear to understand and come with everything you need to make some cute colorful soaps! These are scent-free so I added some peppermint and other essential oils for the kids

My teen and elementary aged kids did this together and really enjoyed it! It was fun and engaging. It would have obviously been too much for my elementary kid. They enjoyed the mixing process and loved how sparkly it was. There were a lot of steps and a lot of prep work and cleanup. It was worth it, though! This wasn’t our first KiwiCrate. They have all been high quality. There doesn’t seem to be a scent or fragrance.

Cute and easy for kids to do and participate in. All supplies provided. Easy instructions to follow. Like that you can use the soap afterwards and it is not going to waste. Like the options for different shapes

My kids thoroughly enjoyed this kit. The instructions (along with pictures) were clear and my 8 and 5 year old were able to complete this project entirely on their own. I loved that! I only oversaw use of the microwave a few times. It comes with enough supply to make about 3 soaps and was definitely engaged them for an afternoon. Highly recommend!

This was such a great activity to do with my toddler. Even though she’s pretty advanced for her age, it was a bit of a learning curve so you may want to note that the recommended age limit is 7+. Nevertheless, we had a great time making soap with this!

My kids had so much fun making these! They directions are so easy I was able to just stand back and supervise. The soap works really well after and isn’t just there for design. Also I love all the varieties of ways you can make these designs. Such a fun activity for kids!
