I just made my first Krusteaz Pound cake. It is horrible, with a strange chemical taste. I will never purchase a Krusteasz product again!

Pound cake perfection
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cake was very good as it came from a box. I am a vanilla snob and feel like it is lacking in that respect, though. When I buy it again, I will pimp it up with some vanilla bean. I took this to a get-together, and it was gone fast, and everyone raved about it. The texture was a perfect pound cake texture!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been a long time since I baked from a box but this is actually a really good cake. I made the vanilla pound cake but I added in some orange juice instead of water and some orange grate to the mix and this cake isn't really heavy and dense like most box pound cakes. It's light and moist and surprisingly professional. Also I mixed the powdered sugar glaze pouch with 2 tbsp of orange juice instead of water and 😱 WOW the flavor it gave to the cake is phenomenal! Try this cake, you're going to love it.

Sweet and tasty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was pretty good for a box cake. I wish it would have been a little more moist and spongy but it had a nice soft texture and sweet flavor. I made my icing a little too runny for my liking. Maybe it will solidify some with time. Easy to make. Only needed a couple extra ingredients. Would maybe buy this again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Krusteaz Vanilla Pound Cake Mix for free in exchange for my opinions. Absolutely loved this Vanilla Pound Cake Mix from Krusteaz! First of all the mix makes it incredibly easy you need only a few added ingredients and mix and pour. Even a child could make this in a snap. This pound cake was so moist and the frosting was just perfect very light. Honestly it came out way better than any pound cake you buy at the grocery store. My family ate it up within 2 days it was so scrumptious we kept cutting another sliver after sliver. I would definitely purchase in the future. I want to try the other flavors for sure!

The texture of the cake it super soft and spongey and it smellls and tastes amazing!!! I would definitely buy this cake out of the store to make again!
