Description
Rescue your roots in between colorings. This 10-minute permanent hair color root touch up is a low ammonia color gel with built in conditioning and an aromatic scent. Magic Root Rescue is recommended to cover gray hair for root regrowth of less than three weeks. It's quick precision applicator makes touching up roots fast and easy and it covers 100 percent of your grays. No uneven touch-ups, just seamless, beautiful color from root to tip. The Root Rescue hair dye kit is available in a color palette ranging from jet black to medium golden brown and light blonde. Packaging may vary. What you receive may not be what is reflected on site.

I thought the application process was excellent, I was able to control my coverage easily. However, even leaving the color on for 15-20 minutes, my gray was back in less than one week. I am so disappointed. I was so hopeful because I like L'Oreal products.

It’s a waste of money. Finally got around to coloring a few strands that are gray at my roots. I guess it’s true that it does color the gray hair 100% “during application”, because once this product is washed out, my gray roots were right there pointing and laughing at me. I wish this had worked because it was so very easy to use.

We know how disappointing it can be to look forward to a new application of color only to find that your results are not what you expected. Gray hair is sometimes resistant to color. For best coverage, begin your application on the grayest areas and leave the product on your gray hair longer. If you have tried the extended timing and still need better gray coverage, we suggest using one shade darker. If your hair is over 50% gray and you have been coloring for a number of years, the amount of gray you now have may have increased over time. If you find that you are not getting the same color results as in previous color applications, you may need to use one shade darker to compensate for the lack of pigment in your hair. For resistant gray, you may also wish to try the Excellence Creme Haircolor. We appreciate your interest in L'Oreal!

I’ve been using this root touch-up for the past couple years. It’s mess free, convenient and darkens my roots pretty well. I usually purchase the dark brown color and keep it in for 20-30 minutes. It gets the job done and the color lasts over a month until my grays grow out again. I’m sure there are better root touch-up but this one works for me.

It washed out after 2 hair washes. I've tried this several times since the one I liked got discontinued. I even bought the darkest brown available thinking it would stick but it after less than a week my hair doesn't look like I colored my hair at all.

Usually use Clairol root touch up in between colors but decided to give this one a try. So disappointed I did. The color was lighter than medium brown, more like a light copper color and it didn’t even cover my grays. So now I will be buying the Clairol touch up to fix my grays—what I should’ve stuck with in the first place.

I was going to use my blonde root rescue tonight…the same one I have used for years…and to my surprise (not in a good way) the color was RED! Thank goodness I have use this many times before; otherwise, I would’ve ended up with red roots and blonde hair. This is not acceptable. And the worst part is I bought it a couple months ago and I don’t even have a receipt to return it.

I was really hoping the I really got 100% gray coverage like the box said, but sadly I did not. I did leave the product in for 15 minutes instead of just 10 minutes. Yes it did cove many of the gray roots, but not the ones around my face which tends to fade the fastest.
