not suitable for infant
I was very excited about this high chair to try to use something that would last as my baby ages but I would NOT recommend! pros- cute, good height with our other chairs, doesn't take up a ton of space, I like that the tray has two parts so you can pop off the big mess while baby is still in there cons - the cushion is so stained and gets gross so fast- washing it daily is ridiculous! needs a WIPEABLE cushion option not washable and the chair needs a cushion for infants bc they are so tiny can't reach foot rests my son is 8 mo and so tall for his age and he is still so far which is a safety thing for choking

Do not get this chair for your own child’s safety. This chair it’s the worse investment of my life. I have to clean it everyday but the problem is that you have to literally take apart to clean if not bugs will grow inside also the screws bleed their rusty color. I regret throwing the box away thinking it was safe since is from maxi cosi but I will not even buy any of their products anymore

Not good for young babies - Great from 15 months +
Beautiful and pretty high chair! but very unsafe tray! Not good for young babies! as they will be able to push the underneath lock of the tray and it falls down! If your baby is not buckled baby will fall down the chair! 2 of my babies had the same experience . Between 6 and 12 months app (amazing chair for 15-18 months onwards) , their legs don’t reach to sit in a 90 degree angle, as the back of the chair is too far and long… so their knees sort of stay up, with that said, their little feet are able to push the lock for the tray to come of, and it falls!!! I can’t use the high chair without something pushing the tray back in, so when baby kicks, it stays still! Having a different design to lock the tray would fix the problem!

The height of the chair itself is very small and I’m a short person! The straps terrible by the time I get her buckled she’s mad and wants out. For the price!! Absolutely, buying something else

Not worth the hype or price. This highchair has been the biggest regret on our registry. For starters the food tray is two pieces screwed together, allowing water to get trapped in when cleaning it which can lead to mold. It also has led to the spring that snaps the tray to the chair to get rusted and now does not work. The foot rest are also limitedly adjustable. my son is 17 months and he still doesn't reach the foot rest, which for safety reasons is a problem. I reached out to the company and was basically told me not liking the product was not a valid reason to return it. I would definitely skip on this high chair and do research on trays and proper ergonomic adjustable foot rest.

Yes to another Maxi Cosi product!
With the cost of baby items at an all time high, I purchased this high chair for its 8-1 feature. It’s frustrating to spend a lot of money on items only for them to last a few months. I love that this highchair is convertible. It was very easy to assemble and even easier to clean. I love the cushion in the seat and the straps are easily ajustable. Great purchase!

IMPOSSIBLE TO THOROUGHLY CLEAN
This was not worth the money. After EXTENSIVE research, I bought 2 of these for my twins at 6 months. I do like that it has infant inserts that are machine washable. However, this thing is nearly impossible to clean thoroughly. After taking it apart when we moved to put the booster seat on a dining chair, I realized there is rust in between the legs. The worst however is cleaning the actual tray. The plastic clear piece is fine. But the actual tray that it clicks onto is terrible! Food gets stuck in between where it attaches to the base and there are SIXTEEN TINY SCREWS that take forever to unscrew attaching them together. I’m a very tired twin mom who just stayed up til 1:00am unscrewing this to clean it better. Luckily it wasn’t too bad of a clean up but it was necessary since there was food stuck in between. All in all, I like that I was able to convert it to a booster. I wanted to use the table and chair option but the legs are rusty. It’s just too expensive to have these types of issues.

Want to love it, but cant.
This is so aesthetically pleasing, which gives it the higher rating. It’s just not supportive for smaller babies. Out 7 month old is 50%, can sit independently and has great head control but this chair promotes slouching and the cushion slides all over putting her in odd spots. Will probably work for her when she’s bigger and older, but for now we need to add towels so she can’t slide around in it. Also, the footrest is so unbelievably low it doesn’t even make sense why it’s on there.

Not my favorite!
We liked the ease and simplicity of this high chair but when we started solids with our 6 month old I didn’t love the fact that her feet don’t have a platform because they’re too low for her to reach. The chair is so small and works great for younger babies but also doesn’t fit the needs for safe eating. Would not recommend for this reason! But we may like to use it as a toddler table in the future.

Love the idea, the color, the aesthetics, that’s about it. It’s an extremely difficult to get my 7 month in and out of it, the tray doesn’t always click in easily, which is a parents worst nightmare. It also just looks uncomfortable, my son leads over, doesn’t love when he gets out of it, especially cause the seat and strap are so loose it moves easily. I wish we opted for regular highchair. I don’t recommend, not easy for me to say since I love Maxi Cosi and purchased a majority of my baby items from this brand.

Love this chair
We have used this chair for about 6 months and it’s worth every cent! Easy to clean and compact without being too small. Also stylish for a large item that has to stay out at all times.

Footrest issues
I want to love this high chair and truly love everything about it… except the footrests. My son is almost 6 months and literally over a foot away from his feet being on the footrest. They are in the highest position and he is in the 75th percentile for height, so I’m shocked this is the case. The seat appears comfortable, the whole chair is easily wipeable and love the washable and easily removable straps. But the baby’s feet need to be anchored for safety and this is just simply not safe.
