Description
The selector switch on the KBGV Select allows you to choose between brewing a half or full carafe. The brewing speed and hotplate temperature adjust according to your choice, brewing either amount to the golden cup standard. The brew basket automatically stops the flow of coffee when removing the carafe. All glass carafe brewers feature a hotplate with an independent heating element that holds your coffee at the perfect temperature.

A: The unheated water reservoir is plastic, but there is a glass tube that runs the heated water up to the shower arm.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this coffee maker! I did extensive research to replace our existing machine. Some of the major reasons I bought this model was for the ability of a half pot of coffee, high brewing temp and 5 year warranty. I got this last Christmas and we have gone through 400 coffee filters so far this year (4 people working from home). The machine has already paid for itself!

This coffee maker is much faster than other drip pots. The coffee is tasty, and you get more flavor with less bitterness. Easy to clean, also.
