Grayson Tanner (age 30) is the antiromance spokesman, vowing never to settle down. This story is sexy, extra grumpy, with steam and sizzling chemistry ❤️🔥🥵 Jovana Winters (22) is a struggling social media influencer and Grayson’s former one-night stand. There are some sweet scenes as Jovana slowly breaks down all of Grayson’s barriers and sweet meeting with Jovana’s parents. The ending felt a bit rushed which included a surprising reveal, along with some dramatic scenes but then wrapped up quickly. While I hate to see things drag I also felt like Grayson didn’t really process his feelings. Since this is the final book in the Hooked series it’s sad that Holden’s story won’t get told. It might have been nice to give him a little HEA in the background, like with Sloane. I also wished there was a scene with cutie Belle, maybe Grayson being sweet with her, as I imagine she’s the only kid he likes. I would have liked a stronger epilogue scene since we’re not likely to see these characters again. Since this is another book set in the author’s favorite city, Boston, I was hoping for a cameo. Maybe Frankie as a realtor or Derek creating something.
