You’ll find Recycling Bags on Nespresso.com directly to the right of your shopping bag summary in the check-out process or via this link. On the mobile app, they’re located under the “accessories” tab. Each recycling bag holds 200 OriginalLine/100 VertuoLine capsules. A UPS label is affixed to each bag. Once you fill the bag with used capsules, remove the silver foil strip and seal the bag. You may drop off the sealed bag to your nearest UPS location. Click here or call 800-742-5877 to find UPS drop-off locations in your area. The capsules will be shipped to our recycling partners. The aluminum will be sent to a local smelter and the coffee grounds will be used on their onsite composting ground.

  • A: We do not have refillable capsules to use in our Vertuo machine models. We specialize in specialty coffee grown by our farmers from all over the world. Each blend is created specifically to brew in our state-of-the-art Nespresso Vertuo machines. Each capsule has a barcode under the rim, which our Vertuo machines read, to know how much water to brew through our multiple different sized capsules. We do not have refillable capsules to use in our Nespresso machines.

    I bought this machine back in November. I only use it when company comes over. After only a few months I started having touble with the machine. It was not brewing. I sent it back and Nespresso said they would repair it. It has come back and seems to be very loud when brewing. Not really sure they fixed much. Very poor quality machine. In addition to that I find the quality of coffee sub-par. I would not recommend purchasing.

    I am on my third machine in 1.5 years. They are not well made. The reason I continue to buy the machine is because I've purchased boxes and boxes of pods. The machine was putting the coffee into the side slot where the pods are discarded. And with returns eventully ceased up. Also, not too happy about how many pods have been wasted.

    I have 2 machines, the Vertuo, and this Pop+. Pop+ makes great coffee like other, but it is VERY loud for being a smaller machine. Additionally, it only fits small coffee cups; and the holder/drip plate for the cups only is not functional It is only large enough if the bottom of the typical coffee cup is tapered to a narrower bottom. Really poor design. My wife got this as a gift for use in my office and it is way too loud! I go back to the kitchen to use the other Vertuo machine. Only reason not 1 star is the coffee is good.

    Thank you for your review, Robert. We expect your Nespresso experience to be seamless and gratifying. The pump in your new Vertuo Pop+ should produce less noise over time. The ideal surface for the machine should be solid and flat such as hard wood or a granite countertop. We also recommend running a cleaning cycle weekly and descaling with Nespresso Descaling Solution every 3 months or 300 capsules to keep your machine in peak operating condition and coffee tasting best. Descaling Solution and instructions are available on our website. Every Nespresso machine is covered under at least a one-year warranty and a lifetime of troubleshooting support, so for additional assistance, please call 800-562-1465, and a Machine Expert will be happy to assist you 24/7.
