I grew to love this coffee maker. It had no problem with pods and can do standard coffee grounds too. The frother worked very well to make whipped cream for a cappucino. But my biggest issue is that this think didn't make it past a year and a half. Now, it cannot draw in any water from the tank. It makes a bunch of sucking sounds and then spits out droplets. And there is nothing I can do, because warranty is only 1 year. Previously, all my other Ninja products would last multiple years without a problem. This is the first poorly made product I've come across - which is terrible, because I loved this thing. But the price, only lasting one year, just isn't worth it. I'd get something else.

I purchased thos a few months ago and first i was happy with it. Have 3 adults that drink coffee throughout the day. Wasnt wanting to go back to keurig as they go out in about a year. I used the reusable coffee pods but would leak with each use around the top near the frother. So have been using the basket. The issue is due to the water reservoir being in the back you, or i do anyway, push the coffee maker back on my counter. When you do this the excess coffee comes out of spicket and will burn the crap out of your hand. I have burnt myself 3 times and had welps. Because of this i do not recommend.

Coffee pot stops working

I've had this coffee pot for a year and a half and now when we go to make coffee the pods or grounds the machine acts like its going to brew our coffee and never does with multiple attempts. We have cleaned the machine and still have the same issue

I bought this after researching the options of all single cup coffee makers. It was a good choice because I can use my on coffee and don’t have to rely on costly pods. It makes an excellent cup of hot coffee.

I’ve had ninja coffee makers before this one is my favorite as a single serve. It brews both pods and grounds. My only reason for not leaving a five star review is the lid is a bit difficult to open. It almost lifts the whole machine when opening. But love it nonetheless the less!

I purchased this coffee maker from Target just a few days ago (6/17/25) and followed all setup instructions carefully, including the priming process. It brewed four cups successfully, but then suddenly stopped working. Now it won’t brew at all. When I try, it makes a loud grinding or straining noise, almost like it’s struggling to pull water from the reservoir. I’ve double-checked all the connections and components, but the issue continues. I’m extremely disappointed that a brand-new machine failed after just a few uses. I recorded a video of the issue that I wish I could upload here. It clearly shows the noise and the machine’s behavior, in case others are experiencing the same problem or for support reference.

I love all the features of this machine! The only thing it missing is to have a frother that heats up the milk. I keep my Keurig on just for that. Other than that I would totally do away with it and just keep my Ninja on my coffee bar!

Worked at first, then stopped turning on. The machine is just a couple of days old. It worked fine last night, but wouldn’t power on this morning. Very disappointing for such a new product.

I’m a little bit obsessed with this coffee maker. I wanted a brewer that did not require pods (although you have the option). It brews very hot, you don’t have to add water with every cup . My favorite thing has to be the milk frothing. I use it with a regular cup of coffee and it feels somehow special every time. I have told all my friends about it. Great product and very well thought out.

I’ve had it for 6 months with no problems whatsoever. I switched over after going through a few Keurigs, and not finding them particularly reliable. Makes great coffee with either pods or grounds, easy to clean and operate, love that I can adjust the lower plate to fit a small cup or my travel mug. Haven’t used the frother, but nice to know it’s an option.

Almost perfect except I CAN’T USE POD ADAPTER. The moment I switched to ground coffee, I could not get it to read when I switch back to the pod adapter. I read the manual and watched YouTube videos and it SHOULD automatically tell when I have the pod adapter in and I have checked to make sure it’s in properly but according to the manual, when both pod and ground icon lights are lit it means criteria not met aka no adapter in…only when I try putting in pod adapter. So yea I bought it to be able to use both and frother, can no longer use pods. I should add even I first got it I only used pods but realized ground coffee is cheaper in long run so I switched the adapters to use ground coffee and the ground adapter works no problem but when I tried switching back to pods, it doesn’t work.

I decided to switch brands after my last two more expensive pod coffee makers failed to last one year. So far, I have used the basket and pod attachment to brew cups but have not used the specialty option or the frothing attachment. Likes: The coffee is hot, but not too hot. The rich setting makes an intense cup of coffee. The ability to store either the basket or the pod attachment inside the unit, as well as the ability to store the scoop on the side of the unit. The ability to use the basket to brew up a cup of up to 24 ounces. The slim design and removable drip tray that minimizes its footprint on the countertop. The removable water reservoir enable an even smaller footprint. You can order replacement parts on the web site. Meh: Brewing speed is slower with this coffee maker than the other brand but not show stopping slow. No choices in hot coffee temperature although the coffee is hot enough, but not too hot. Verdict: Its a keeper.

I was so excited to receive this machine as a gift to replace my Keurig. Unfortunately, every cup of coffee I make, no matter what setting I try or how small the cup, my coffee always tastes watered down. I have tried grounds and I have used the Dark French Roast K cups that I’ve been using for years that with my Keurig always produced a nice, robust flavor and rich coffee, especially when using the “strong setting.” This machine does have a similar setting, however it does not offer different results at all. So bummed but glad I received this as a gift Since I would be very angry if I had spent money on it. That being said, the size is very nice.
