Q: The 'Details' section states that the processor has a 1000 "peak watts" motor. The 'Specifications' section lists output as 850 watts. Which is correct (and why the discrepancy)?
A: Everywhere else on the Internet, the BN 601 processor says 1000watts

Q: I have a Ninja Blender; and a 40 year old food processor by Cuisinart; I only use my food processor mostly for making pie dough..how is this machine on pie dough; and is there a storage box for the other blades?
A: We are happy to confirm that this system will be able to handle your pie crust recipes using the dough blade. There is a storage box for the disc but this system does not include a storage box for your blades.

Q: Could the processor handle root vegetables (e.g. cassava, yautia, green bananas) to make masa?
A: This unit performs well with vegetables, however, root vegetables require more power to blend effectively. For those, we recommend the Ninja® Professional XL Food Processor (NF701) for better results.

Q: Can this food processor shred zucchini?
A: Yes, you can shred zucchini in the BN601 by using its reversible Slicing/Shredding Disc on the “Shredder” side. Install the disc over the spindle in the 9-cup bowl, lock on the feed-chute lid, then select the DISC program (or LOW speed). Feed zucchini sticks into the chute and use the pusher to guide them through for consistent shreds.
