A: Hi there, actually this product is tested for color safety and has passed. It is tested for color safety, but we still recommend using only once per week.

A: Clarifying shampoos generally have a higher concentration of surfactants, the soap-like ingredient responsible for cleansing and clarifying your hair. We generally recommend using our Clarifying Shampoo no more than once per week, but it really depends on what your hair goes through on a daily basis. For instance, if you use a lot of hair styling products, have hard water, or swim in chlorinated pools, you may need to use a clarifying shampoo more frequently. The same goes for infrequent hair washers or those with more significant oil buildup.

This stuff is the bomb. I used to use Ouai detox shampoo but I feel this one is very comparable and much more affordable (and not so heavily scented). I use this once a week then follow up with my regular shampoo and it leaves my hair and scalp feeling clean but not dried out.

Not for me. It made my hair fall out and my scalp was always itchy. I tried if for about 2 months to give it a good try but it didn’t get any better. Maybe I just don’t have the type of hair for it.

Not sure what happened but I purchased tgin from Ulta and I’ve never had issues with their conditioners but this time I felt like it was leaving a waxy sticky finish in my hair and I decided to use a random shea moisture shampoo thinking it’d just wash the buildup out and it just made my hair so ugly.. it felt so heavy and sticky and ew so I decided to look into a clarifying shampoo late last night and I was in between oui and this one but since since Ulta was closing soon I decided to get this shampoo at target and it feels back to normal again (; I can actually run my hands through my hair and style it. 10/10 recommend !

Im not the one to write reviews, but I have tried so many shampoos for buildup and oily roots. I changed my water filter which seemed to help a bit but still the buildup came back and had my hair flat and oily. After one wash with Odell it instantly came back to life. I tried 4 shampoos later this is my holy grail. GET IT! I PROMISE !

Let me start by saying I usually don’t write reviews but I had to for all my natural girls out there! My hair is usually kept in some sort of protective style (knotless braids) and I really needed something to clarify my hair really good in between styles. This shampoo absolutely got the job done without my hair feeling stripped in any way, which is usually what I get when I wash my hair with a clarifying shampoo! My hair was left very soft and clean, and I was left with a really good foundation for my blow dry!

I have oily fine straight highlighted hair. I use this once a week because I use leave in conditioner everyday. This cleans my hair so well and makes my hair feel soft and fluffy. It smells very good and lathers perfect.

I love that this product is vegan friendly. The directions say to use once a week, so I have been using this at the end of my week to help wash away any built up product like dry shampoo. It leaves my hair feeling clean.

I actually love this product! It cleans my hair nicely and it's affordable. As with any clarifying shampoo don't use too often use it 1-2 times a month. I would recommend if you are looking for a more affordable product.

I am very particular with the products I put in my hair so I only washed a small section of my hair to start. After I saw that I had no issues with the shampoo I went and washed my whole head of hair with it. I really like the shampoo because it lather well and it also get rid of the gunk that was in my head. I had been wearing a protective style for the past month and a half so it didn't take me that many washes for my hair to feel clean. It's a simple shampoo so it doesn't smell. I enjoyed it and may buy in the near future

I like to use dry shampoo and that can weigh down my hair after a while. I like having this shampoo to wash off the residue completely. My hair is squeaky clean when I use this. There is a light herbal scent.

My hair is 3C and depending on the season it can either be very dry or lacking moisture. The problem is that I tend to feel like I have an oily scalp depending on the frequency that wash my hair. Odele clarifying shampoo was really a game changer for me. My hair felt clean but not dried which was fantastic!

I absolutely love this clarifying shampoo! Every time I use it, I get compliments on my hair being soft and shiny. I've used other clarifying shampoos before, and I found them to be stripping on my hair even after using a good conditioner. But this shampoo leaves my scalp feeling lighter and clean and my hair feeling soft and silky. My scalp doesn't become greasy as quickly after using this shampoo. I use it once a week and wash my hair twice using this shampoo, then follow it up with L'Oreal Everpure moisture conditioner. This shampoo cleans all the buildup effectively without being stripping and drying.
