No respect for India - product installation fails

I was disappointed to find that the Omron app doesn't recognize India as a country during setup. It lists countries like Bahrain and Pakistan but omits India entirely. Omron informed me that they have a separate app for India, but it's not compatible with phones purchased outside of the country. I've encountered this issue with Omron before, two years ago when I bought a heart rate monitor. Despite reporting the problem, it remains unresolved. This lack of attention to Indian customers is unacceptable, and I'm returning the weighing machine as a result.

I enjoy using my Omron Bluetooth digital scale. It’s lightweight and gives a accurate weight. The Bluetooth is a easy setup and also a nice feature to have. The scale is a perfect size and doesn’t take up a lot of room. Overall it is a great scale.

But it can do all kinds of stuff via Bluetooth, if paired with smartphone, and smartphone has the app that manual says to be downloaded. Then scale sends data to the app, and then app shows all kinds of things. Cool

It is easy to read, and it only takes a few seconds to get an accurate result. The best part is that it syncs to the OMRON app on my iPad, and it stores all my data in a snap. I have never owned a digital scale, let alone one that has a Bluetooth capability. I haven’t really gotten on the app too much, but as I’m on a weight loss journey I plan on figuring it out quickly and using it daily to log and track my progress.
