Description
You are the only team capable of saving humanity, think you've got what it takes as you play this fast paced & thrilling board game? Pandemic is a co-operative game where you and other players come together to stop the spreading of deadly viruses from across the globe!
Work together, cooperate & work fast as you share knowledge, treat diseases, & fly all over the world to prevent outbreaks and slow down the epidemic. The fate of humanity is in your hands!
Start the game by placing the game board on a flat surface & placing the research station & four types of disease cubes on the board. Once the research station has been set up in Atlanta and all the disease cubes have been evenly distributed across the board you can start the game.
Remember to use as many epidemic cards as you want the game to be challenging. Place the epidemic cards inside the player deck & proceed to place the player deck on the space provided on the board. Remember to always cooperate & work together & try and find a cure to save the world. The fate of all humans lies in your hands.

I played Pandemic with a games group. No one else was interested in playing it, but I wanted to try it so a few of them played with me. It took a long time to set up. There are a lot of small parts and a lot of instructions. It's a cooperative game, so all players are working together toward the same goal. Everyone wins, or everyone loses. It was ok, but I don't want to play it again because it takes a long time to set up, and the person who knows the game best tends to run the show. Throughout the whole game, that leader person has to explain their train of thought so that everyone else can follow what is happening, which makes it go slowly. Also each player gets a role with various abilities, and it's difficult enough to remember your own abilities, much less everyone else's. The game is so complicated that the maker had to list the steps that each player takes on their turn directly on the game board (on the bottom right corner). It's a nicely designed game, just not very fun to play. There are too many rules, it's slow, and it's kind of boring. The goal is also a little confusing, because you win by finding cures for 4 diseases. not by eradicating the 4 diseases, which can also be done in the game. And each player starts their turn by taking 4 actions, but we had to keep asking what constitutes an action. Not good for young kids. I noticed the game's price seems to fluctuate a lot (from about $45 to $35 to $25).

My wife and I played this game together. It was challenging with two players, in my opinion. I enjoyed it more than my wife did. The game is well made. The outbreak cards are cool. It’s a well thought out game. If you like strategy games and a challenge, this is for you.

At first you might think there is no way to cure all four and win. But, that's the fun of it and yes you can win. Just when you think you know all the rules... then you discover something knew. Highly recommended for the family.

Seems overly complicated with too much going on at once. Almost caused a huge family fight over the rules. Probably never gonna play again. Waste of time.

Why would I want to play a game over something so horrific happening in real life. This is trash. The creator should be ashamed. Just a ploy to make money.

This was our first cooperative game and our favorite cooperative game so far. Working as a team to save the world instead of working against the other players was a new concept for us. Tons of replay-ability. You won't always save the world but you'll enjoy the challenge.

This game is so fun because you play as a group to beat the game by using strategy! Had so much fun playing at a game night - it is strategy based so do not recommend for smaller kids.

We have only played this once so far. Strong learning curve required to play. Decent addition to the collection. Kind of a dark theme for a board game considering covid. My husband and I play games together so we are always looking for decent 2 player games.

Our family loves this game. Definitely not for younger kids. It does take some time to learn and strategize. Also it’s nice to be completing against the game and not each other. It encourages teamwork among players which can be a challenge on its own!

This game was fun for our family members aged 10 and up. It was fun to compete together instead of against one another. I liked the educational part mixed in with the situations. I would recommend watching a YouTube tutorial once before playing.

This game has far too many set up and rules... It took us more time to set it up than to play. If you want something fun and quick, this may not be it! Sorry!
