A: Hi there, that is a great question! You are able to heat the soup inside the container in the microwave. I have included the heating instructions below for both the microwave and the stovetop. Microwave: Remove lid and film. Place cup on a microwave-safe plate, cover loosely. Heat on high 5-6 minutes (times may vary) until hot (165° F), stir halfway through. Let stand 1 minute in microwave. Carefully remove by the plate. Caution! Soup and container will be very hot. Stove Top: Remove lid and film. Pour soup into saucepan. Heat thoroughly (165° F). Do not boil.

Good soup for a quick easy lunch. I really like the big chunks of broccoli and shreds of carrot. I do like my broccoli cheddar soup to be thick, this was a little runnier than I like, but it was still good and creamy. I like the container with lid because I can just serve my portion and put the rest away. Claims to be microwaveable but I don’t microwave plastic. Overall, good easy meal.

This used to be one of my favorites, but they've changed it by watering it down and adding huge chunks of tasteless broccoli to take up space. The consistency is literally like water where it used to be thick and delicious. Guess I'm finally going to try some copycat recipes.
