Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottles with First Flow Nipples - 2oz/2pk

These bottles are way better than other bottles because they are glass I find that glass is much cleaner and more sterile.

The size of this bottle is good for newborn because of small capacity but even later on can be used as a water bottle, just the teat can be replaced to faster flow. Overall the bottle is useful, easy to use, easy to clean. There was no trouble with combine breast feeding with bottle feeding. Highly recommended

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The teat is a lifelike to a nipple as you can get, compared to other bottles on the market. The teat is soft and flexible to allow a newborn to latch on easily, this makes feeding so much more relaxing! It’s easy to pull apart and clean, this make sterilising easy! The only downside in my opinion is I wish it was a glass bottle rather than plastic, but if you don’t mind this then it’s an amazing bottle to buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I like this bottle and I think baby did too. It was very handy to have at night so Dad could feed and I could sleep! I was worried about using a bottle too early but this one has eased my mind. The lid is incredibly stiff to get on and off, probably because it's new, but it's not easily flip off-able when you're trying to do things one-handed.

The shape and contour of the teat and bottle means my son can easily adapt from breast to bottle with no confusion or problems. It’s easy to wash and sterilise. I love the compactness of it. The numbers are clearly printed and very sturdy so don’t rub off. Overall absolutely amazing bottle.

My little one latched on well and there were no leaks when using the bottle. It is very easy to clean and sterilise. I would recommend this bottle for new parents to use with their newborns.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This advent bottle is so simple to use and to look after properly. It’s simple to pop into the steriliser with no unnecessary difficult to clean parts. The teat gave just the right flow for a fairly young baby and positioned in the mouth comfortably. The only slight criticism was that as it’s a small bottle it could be hard for someone with smaller hands to grip but don’t see away around that as unlike a larger volume bottle there’s not enough room to have a narrowed middle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to try this product as my newborn was struggling with a big well known brand of bottles we had purchased and someone had recommended these were great for anti colic and to combine with breastfeeding due to the teat shape. The first problem I encountered was how small the bottles were, I’m expressing my own milk to bottle feed and he is on at least 3 oz each since 2 weeks old so these bottles just don’t meet his needs. If you have a baby that was a small birth weight and on a small amount of milk or formula this may work better than a big 9lb baby like I had. The other problem I had was the shape, around the middle the bottle dips in almost like an hourglass shape which might look good but the milk gets stuck around this ridge and I found I had to tip my son back really far to get the milk from being trapped in the ridge of the bottle. This was very frustrating and meant I stopped using after a few times as it was a fuss my son didn’t get his last half oz as he got tired of waiting. It does feel nice to hold and he didn’t choke at all which he did constantly with the big brand bottles we have so that was nice. The flow from the teat was nice and seemed to comfortably fit in his mouth without bending or contorting out of shape.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My baby is breastfed and I’ve tried lots of other bottles for when I express but she wouldn’t take any. Reluctantly I tried the Phillips avent natural bottle - she latched on and took the bottle just like the breast , no fuss. I’ve since been and bought more bottles . The teats are super soft and textured and the bottles are easy to clean and for her to begin to start holding . I recommend this bottle to friend who’s 6 month old breast fed baby was refusing other bottles and he took to it too ! I’m so happy !!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to receive these Philips Agent bottles from the weeSpring Parent Panel to trial with my baby in exchange for an honest review. I've never bought such small bottles before, since I primarily breastfeed until I return to work, at which time, my babies typically need larger bottles. However, I've learned that I need to get them accustomed to drinking from bottles sooner than I return, and having a 2oz bottle was perfect for my newborn. I imagine that the smaller size helps with gas/colic since there's less possibility of air coming in. The nipples on these Avent bottles are also supposed to reduce colic, but I didn't notice any specific reduction or anything too innovative. That being said,I thankfully have an easy going baby, who took to it just fine. The bottles are also very easy to clean (just 3 parts). So it's nice to have it around, especially if you don't have a picky baby.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle as a member of the weeSpring Parent Panel. This bottle was great, and functional. Prior to this, I was using a competing brand that occasionally leaked. I haven't had any such problem with Avent. I have been supplementing with formula and the bottle opening is a good size to allow for dropping the formula scoop into the bottle. My daughter (6 weeks old) did well with the nipple and drinking. The only criticism is that sometimes a (very small) amount of milk will pool/catch in the bottle ledge, but this is easily managed by taking the bottle out of the baby's mouth, shaking the bottle, and reinserting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a new parent and had been exclusively breastfeeding my 4 week old baby until I received the Philips Avent Baby Bottles through the weeSpring Parent Panel. I needed to start getting baby used to bottle feeding, as I will have to return to work in 2 months. We currently are bottle feeding pumped breastmilk about once a day. My baby does really well with the Philips Avent Bottles. Baby immediately took to the bottle and didn’t seem to have any issues with feeding. The anti-colic vent in the nipple seems be effective, as we have not noticed any issues with gas since starting the bottle feeding. The first flow nipple works really well for baby. I like that the nipple is wide and more breast-shaped than some other brands, so baby has a good, natural latch while feeding. Baby is able to easily alternate between breastfeeding and bottle feeding with no apparent challenges. We also have not noticed any leaking with this bottle. It is also nice that there are only 3 parts to this bottle, which makes for easy assembly. The wide bottle neck also makes it easy for transferring breastmilk into the bottle and easy to clean. My husband (who has been doing the bottle feeds) prefers the next size up (4oz bottle), as the 2oz size is very short and stubby. He feels that overall they are too small for feed baby comfortably.
